of course you would never use this irl *but* the underlying tech is pretty neat. it's only possible because of sched_ext, which let’s you write CPU schedulers in userspace I actually talked about this in my last video about my favorite CS papers of 2025, check it out (~3:30):

here's the repo if you want to take a peek, it's pretty funny:

“of course you would never use this irl…”

I tried to watch the video, but I'll have to wait for the proper alignment of Jupiter for chrome to get enough CPU cycles.

Close enough, welcome back Temple OS

Astrology girl final boss

that's what vibe coding was created for

its also 30 minutes late for everything and steals your fries

Still better than Windows scheduler.

I would still call this kind of basic concepts and hashmaping

People shouldn't play so much with the occult Or else normies will realize its true and we will collectively break out of the positivist truce

Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic

i want to see someone write a scheduler which asks chatgpt which processes should be prioritised. not that it’d be good but it would be really funny

@fleshsimulator I scheduled a set of posts with content and timings all very carefully calculated with a highly detailed natal chart. Then I also scheduled a bunch of images of slop, gave them flowery names, and scheduled them at random. Both are doing really well.

Orikan the Diviner coded

I love ppl. I love linux.

finally a scheduler that explains why my builds fail during Mercury retrograde

leaving this here

this post brought ALL the woo

>doesn’t factor in axial precession

My pc is not working because mercury is sniffing plutos ass

This sounds like something TempleOS would've done 😂

Haha 😂 this is what's possible in the AI era. Impossible to do before

final fantasy tactics for your linux scheduler

iirc a lot of scheduling is pretty arbitrary, particularly if you don't have a particularly demanding set of uses.

why do you need so much information to take one action?

based on the emojis i would say an LLM made it

Alot of people in tech or who think they know tech are such bummers and bad vibes and bad energy. Look at this program built out of pure fun and intrigue and look at the comments. Lmfao bruh. Can y’all shut the fuck up and go and actually do what you enjoy since this is so bad

Don't let the foids see this!

I mean, why not? Let's have AI think for us and the starts schedule our CPUs. Remember that Octopus that prediceted the outcomes of worldcup football games? Let that make our political decisions. ;)

you would be very surprised to find out who treats this stuff seriously

US state department was using this from the 1900s

why not use it? lmao

wtf happens if Aquarius is on?!?!?!?
