Someone just built a Claude Code for electronics. It's called Blueprint. Type what you want to build and it generates wiring diagrams, bills of materials, and step-by-step assembly guides for your Arduino or Raspberry Pi project. 100% Free.

This is a cool concept but I have a sneaking suspicion AI hallucinations are going to get people hurt

It made me a quadcopter with a single prop on three motors and dual prop on the 4th. 😅

Uh, @SOLIDWORKS has had wiring diagrams & specs, wire length etc for years ? Plus the cad to mfg parts is integrated into the assembly-line flow, and to Comsol for engr sim It's like welcome back to history solved this as if #DueDilligence died with #AI ? Who owns this book ?

Insanity. Next decade is going to be an incredible ride, if we survive.

I asked him to create a mosquito killer, and he created a "Mini Vibration Device"... Well, of course, you can kill mosquitoes with a vibrator, but that's not what I asked for :D

Im seeing so many new novel use cases for agentic tools This is another great example Hoping to contribute to the same push with biochem education and visualization 🫡 VibeChem 😋

But what is free? It's a subscription service.

can we get this for cad ? like also with stl to step fitter etc builtin ( maybe differencabel cad maybe genetic algorithms )

Mind blown. Someone built 'Claude for electronics' we didn't know we needed. Describe any Arduino/Raspberry Pi project in plain text and generates wiring diagrams, BOM, exploded 3D models, and clear assembly instructions.

Does this think look like a drone to you ???!

I could only imagine this does not work the way you would expect it. The fact is the engineering process is far more complex than the coding process.

@ivishaltejwani

claude code for electronics is an actual 10x for hardware tinkerers. the hard part of arduino projects was never the code, it was the wiring and bom. if blueprint nails this it's a different category of product

@hackerfantastic

Gemini tried valiantly but I'm ngl it was a bitch keeping getting a diagram but we're getting there.

hardware wrappers work because parts have part numbers. wiring fails closed when pins don't match, BOMs fail when the chip doesn't exist. codegen wrappers hallucinate silently; electronics wrappers can't. that's what makes blueprint actually work, not the UX.

cool

Booo, this product sucks. Any asshole can make a BoM

Can this be run locally?

What in the world is this I have to try this right now this looks wild and I am way too curious to not give it a shot

Super cool concept! CAD engine could use some work, these are my “AR Sunglasses” lol

@Sajeel_Purewal Ohmg

I've used it. That's very inaccurate, but UI looks cool.

Man, I had an idea I shared with my old mentor to do something similar on electronics to reverse engineer if robotics/probes were handy. The idea was either for security research, reducing or repurposing circuits as a recycling method.

I bet your not even opened it once

Hey @grok, fact check this post.

holyfck...we are really, properly fckd.
