Someone on Reddit asked why they can't make money on Polymarket. The top comment had one word: distinct-baguette. No explanation. No link. Just a username. 47 upvotes. Thread deleted 2 hours later. I searched. Found the wallet. $441,263 profit. 26,293 trades. Joined October 2025. → Account: 66% win rate....

This is complete BS. Yes + No by definition always equals to 1 or more (depending on spread). He does something completely different as you can clearly see from his activity.

That last line hits hard. Real money isn’t made by guessing the future, it’s made by understanding the rules better than the crowd. While everyone argues direction, someone quietly farms the math. That’s the difference between noise and mastery.

As noted here, there are transaction costs that will exceed the gain from only cents of difference. You would pay twice the normal transactions fees because you would be entering two positions, not one as normally. There is also a time delay: you would be entering one order followed by the second while markets change. Further: your own first order may be enough to alter your entry price for the second order. I suspect that your odds of take-home profits are higher if you can find markets where the outcome is already definitive but the trading market has not yet caught up to that information. That is, where you know more about the outcome than the majority of the players and there is just a little time left before the market settles. These situations do arise.

They’re trying to explain arbitrage but you need a much better entry when buying BOTH sides of the bet like this. It really is a lot harder to do than what this post is saying. I’ve looked into arbitrage a while back, decided I’d stick to trading long term options lol.

This only works in a cost free transaction world. Small margin HFT needs no or very low transaction cost. With taker fees, you can't bets the vig except at the low margin edges.

There are several people who have built models that inject small amounts right as bets resolve and show long term results. However.... I've yet to see anyone selling one of these tools. It's mostly engineers who've figured out flaws in the algorithm.

What you just said is Polymarket is a completely inefficient market, and so there is room for a brand new trader to arbitrage. If Polymarket is inefficient and its price discovery doesn't work efficiently, then everyone trading on it is a moron losing money to guys like this

One Python bot made $316K by finding the same loophole thousands of times. Broken prices appear every few seconds. This bot catches them before anyone else. I found distinct-baguette buried in a leaderboard. Another crypto bot grinding 15-minute windows. Almost closed the tab. Then I saw the win rate. 71%. That is low for a profitable bot. Way too low. Something was off. → Account: Turns out I was looking at it wrong. This bot does not predict anything. Does not care if BTC goes up or down. Does not read charts. Does not time entries. It just watches one thing: prices that do not add up. Sounds weird until you see the trick. Polymarket 15-minute windows have two sides. YES and NO. One of them always pays $1. So YES + NO should always equal $1. That is just math. But when markets move fast, prices slip. YES at 48 cents. NO at 49 cents. Total: 97 cents. The bot sees this. Buys both sides. Waits. Market closes. One side pays $1. He spent 97 cents. Keeps the 3 cent difference. Does not matter who wins. The script checks Polymarket every few seconds. BTC. SOL. XRP. Anything with volume. The moment prices slip under 99 cents combined, it fires. Three cents per trade. Repeat it tens of thousands of times. That is how you get to $316K. The 71% win rate finally made sense. He is not trying to pick winners. He is locking profit before the bet even resolves. Some trades the spread was not wide enough. Does not matter. The edge is in the volume. Everyone else bets on outcomes. This bot bets on broken math.

🚨THIS ARB SETUP PRINTS ~$27,500 PER MONTH It's WRONG about BTC price every time and still gets paid. The secret? It buy YES, then buys NO same second. Sounds insane but it's the only risk-free trade in the whole space: On a BTC Up/Down market, YES and NO have to add up to exactly $1 at resolution. One side ends at a dollar. The other ends at zero. Always, no middle ground. But the orderbook is messy and the two sides trade like they don't even know about each other. So for a few seconds YES sits at 47 cents while NO sits at 49. That's 96 cents to own BOTH outcomes of a market that pays a guaranteed dollar. 4 cents of locked profit that does not care where Bitcoin goes. Up, down, sideways - you already hold the winning side, cause you hold every side. You're not predicting anything. You're just buying a dollar for less than a dollar. Now the honest part most of these posts skip: The gap is real but thin, and three things eat it. > fees + gas on both legs > you need BOTH sides filled before the gap closes > and it closes in seconds, sometimes faster Grab YES at 47, NO jumps to 54 before your second leg fills, and your locked 96 just became $1.01. Free money turned into a small loss in one tick. The math is risk-free but the execution is NOT. That's the whole reason bots own this and humans can't. You can stare at one market. My scanner watches every crypto market at once and fires both legs the instant the sum breaks under a dollar. Full guide quoted below for those who wanna deep dive into arb.

Someone leaked a wallet on 4chan three days ago. If you don't know what 4chan is it's an anonymous forum where people post without names. No registration. No profiles. Just anonymous posts that get deleted after a few hours. The thread stayed up for 19 minutes. Then moderators deleted it. I took a screenshot before it disappeared. anoin123. $1.5M profit in 60 days. 207 bets on Polymarket. → Wallet: The post had three sentences: Stop following Twitter. Start doing the opposite. This is my wallet. That was it. Thread got nuked. Gone forever. I spent two days analyzing every position. Now I understand why moderators deleted it so fast. The Pattern: When CNN and every major news outlet screamed US WILL strike Iran by January 31 everyone bought YES at 83 cents. This wallet bought NO at 17 cents. $861,000 bet. Profit: $173,000. CNN was wrong. Anonymous person was right. When Reddit was 100% certain government shutdown would NOT happen on Saturday this wallet bet $869,000 that it WOULD. Profit: $88,412. Reddit was wrong. Anonymous person was right. When Twitter blue checkmarks guaranteed Israel WOULD strike Iran this wallet bet $371,000 on NO. Profit: $73,076. Twitter was wrong. Anonymous person was right. 207 bets. 182 wins. 87.9% accuracy. Not by knowing the future. By betting against what everyone knows for sure. Currently holding $4.1 million in open positions. Every single one against mainstream opinion. Biggest single win: $173,000 betting NO while thousands bought YES. Average bet size: $200,000+. That's not gambling. That's conviction. Why the thread got deleted: 4chan moderators remove posts when they think information is too good. When real money making strategies leak, they kill the thread fast. Keep the alpha for themselves. This person posted their entire wallet publicly. Showed exactly what they were betting. Showed the results. 19 minutes later: deleted. But the wallet is still there. Still trading. Still winning. The profit curve doesn't jump around like a gambler. It climbs steady like someone who reads government documents while everyone else reads tweets ABOUT government documents. The strategy is stupidly simple: Wait for everyone to agree on something. Wait for confidence to hit 80-90%. Bet the opposite side. Heavy. Most people lose because following the crowd feels safe. Everyone agrees. Must be right. This wallet makes money BECAUSE everyone agrees. Crowd consensus = wrong pricing. Someone on 4chan figured out that when 10,000 people are certain about something, they're probably looking at the same headlines and making the same mistake. Thread deleted. Information gone. But I saved the wallet address. $1.5 million in 60 days is $25,000 per day. That's more than most people's yearly salary. The person who posted this on 4chan? Still anonymous. No name. No face. No social media. Just a wallet that bets against everything you read on Twitter and wins 87.9% of the time. Maybe the real information isn't on Twitter with 100,000 likes. Maybe it's in anonymous forums that get deleted in 19 minutes.

A programmer found a bug in the laws of probability. Now he collects $35,000 a day for exploiting it. How do you make money betting against yourself? Sounds like idiocy. Looks like $236,000 in pure profit. 2 months ago this wallet did not exist. Today it holds $236,000 in pure profit. He does not read news. Does not watch charts. Does not listen to analysts. He just sees the moment when math breaks. And takes the difference. I found this wallet buried in the 15-minute leaderboard. First thought: another HFT bot catching milliseconds. I was wrong. The exploit is public. So is the wallet: First thing that crashed my brain. This bot does not bet on direction. It does not care if the price falls or rises. It bets on BOTH outcomes. Simultaneously. How do you make money betting against yourself? I broke down the mechanics and felt like an idiot. Here is the glitch this script exploits: On Polymarket every market has two outcomes: YES and NO. In a perfect world their sum always equals $1.00. But we do not live in a perfect world. We live in a world of panic, FOMO, and people staring at charts at 3am. When volatility spikes, the crowd goes insane. YES price flies to 60 cents. NO drops to 35. Total cost of both outcomes: 95 cents. The bot sees this instantly. It buys YES. It buys NO. Same second. Investment: 95 cents.сGuaranteed payout: $1.00. Profit: 5 cents. Does not matter where the price goes. To zero or to the moon. The bot already won before anything happened. Now multiply this by hundreds of trades per day. 5 cents becomes $50. $50 becomes $500. $500 becomes $5,000. $35,000 every day. While the programmer sleeps. I analyzed the entry timings. The bot does not trade randomly. It hunts in the first 5-10 minutes after each market opens. Why? Because that is peak chaos. New candle. New contract. Fresh fear. Liquidity has not settled yet. The window of opportunity lasts seconds. For a human it is invisible noise. For code it is harvest season. Think about what this means. While 70% of Polymarket traders lose their deposits guessing direction, reading news, drawing support lines... This bot simply collects tax on their emotions. Every panic sell you make creates a pricing error. Every FOMO buy you make breaks the math. The bot is patient. The bot is precise. The bot has no nervous system. I thought winning in this market required insiders or $10k servers. This wallet proved me wrong. You do not need to know the future. You just need to know that YES + NO should equal $1. And when the crowd in panic makes the sum equal $0.95... That difference is your profit. The question is not whether these opportunities exist. The question is who takes them while you blink. Right now somewhere a new market just opened. Volatility is rising. Prices are diverging. This bot is already counting. You can keep guessing. Or you can get in line behind the one who already hacked the game. In one second he will press Buy. Twice. On both sides. And you?

Someone spends 40 years at a factory. Retires with $100K in savings. Calls it a life's work. Someone else made that in 4 days on Polymarket. $5.57M profit. Joined January 2026. One month ago. First time I saw this I closed the tab. Thought it was inspect element. Then I checked the blockchain. → Wallet: 1,891 predictions. Biggest single win: $1.5 million. On one match. He does not predict winners. He predicts price movement before it happens. Entry at 34 cents. Exit at 91 cents. The match had not even started yet. Entry at 41 cents. Exit at 88 cents. Final score was still 0-0. He sells before the outcome. Every time. The markets think they are betting on sports. He is betting on the crowd. When 50,000 people panic buy after a goal, the price spikes. He is already out by then. Sitting on a 160% gain while everyone else fights for scraps. His positions value right now: $1.4M. Active. Waiting. 110,000 people have viewed this profile. Most of them saw the numbers and scrolled past. Thought it was fake. I did too. Then I verified 47 transactions on chain. The hashes do not lie. This is not luck. Luck does not produce a profit curve that looks like a staircase going up. I stopped trying to understand WHY it works. I started watching WHEN he moves. Two days ago I copied one of his positions. Entry at $0.38. Sold at $0.79 before the event resolved. +107%. No prediction needed. Just timing. Some people spend 40 years earning what this wallet makes in a week. I am not saying the system is broken. I am saying some people found the glitch.

Someone tried to impress a girl on Hinge last week. Sent her a screenshot of his Polymarket wallet as a flex. This is what I do for a living. She screenshot it and posted it to Twitter with: Men will really show you anything except emotional availability. Tweet got 47,000 likes. Then deleted. But the wallet address was visible in the corner. Account88888. $645,489 profit. 11,603 predictions. 96% win rate. → Wallet: The guy was trying to flex. Ended up exposing a strategy making $80K+ per month. I opened the wallet expecting complex plays. Insider information. Some genius strategy. Found something stupidly simple. He buys UP and DOWN on the same Bitcoin window. Simultaneously. Every single time. Sounds impossible. You can't bet both sides and profit. Except you can when the market is panicking. Here's the exploit: During high volatility, Polymarket misprices both sides. UP costs 48 cents. DOWN costs 46 cents. Total: 94 cents for two outcomes where one MUST pay $1. Buy both. Wait 15 minutes. Collect $1. Keep 6 cents. Repeat 11,603 times. $35,928 bet → Won $98,789 (174% ROI) Average position size: $40,000. This isn't testing. This is printing. The wallet used to be named JaneStreetIndia before changing to Account88888. Smart money stays invisible. The profit curve goes straight up. Zero drawdowns. 96% win rate. This wallet doesn't predict direction. It doesn't read news. It doesn't analyze charts. It just waits for YOU to panic, then buys the math error you create. Currently holding $0 in positions. Everything closed. $645,489 withdrawn. Biggest single win: $62,900. 144,600 people have viewed this profile. Most don't understand what they're looking at. The Hinge girl who leaked this? Account suspended after the guy's lawyer sent a cease and desist. Too late. Screenshot saved everywhere. The original tweet said: He sent me his gambling addiction thinking it was attractive. Except this isn't gambling. This is arbitrage. He's farming liquidity from emotional traders. Your panic = his profit. The guy deleted his Hinge account. The wallet withdrew everything and went dark. But for 2 months, he made more than most people's yearly salary by buying both sides while you picked one. Someone tried to flex on a dating app and accidentally exposed how emotional betting works. She thought he was gambling. He was taxing gamblers.

An automated wallet earned $416K by betting on both sides. Every trade. I found Account88888 with 98% win rate. 9,604 predictions. Expected the usual directional play. ⭢ Account: Then I saw the position breakdown. On 97.7% of markets he holds UP and DOWN simultaneously. Wait. That should not work. If you own both outcomes, you break even. Basic math. Except he does not break even. He made $416K in four months. Here is the trick. When BTC moves fast, Polymarket lags spot by 30 to 90 seconds. Order books thin out. Prices stick. UP sits at 48¢. DOWN sits at 46¢. Combined: 94 cents. But one pays $1 at close. Always. He buys both during the lag. Before the market reprices. Locks 6¢ profit before the window even resolves. I looked at one 15-minute window. 504 trades. Three minutes of execution. Starts when UP=47¢, DOWN=54¢. Market has not figured out direction yet. Spreads are wide. BTC starts climbing. He keeps buying. UP climbs to 92¢. DOWN drops to 9¢. Market reprices in real time. He adjusts both legs. Not static arbitrage. Dynamic harvesting. When volatility hits, spreads blow out to 8-15¢ between outcomes. Retail guesses direction. Bots have not arrived yet. He enters both. Not at once. As the window moves. One leg at 48¢. Other at 46¢. Combined under $1. Hold time: 8-12 minutes average. Market closes. One side resolves. Profit locks. Used to be JaneStreetIndia. Too loud. Same wallet. Just quieter now. Everyone else picks a direction and hopes. This bot made hoping irrelevant.
