BREAKING: The executive committee at the Florida GOP just approved a motion to make the meeting a closed meeting. Prior to the motion being made, the room was packed with Trump supporters who were quietly sitting in their chairs to support the removal of the rule change to revoke the loyalty oath. The meeting is now closed off to the public. It’s scheduled to take place till 8 pm. All non members were just asked to leave the room and everyone complied without incident.

Committee GOP Committee has now released Camera 7231 that shows a man described as an active-duty FBI colleague of Former FBI Liaison to Capitol Police John Guandolo, clapping and saying "this is huge" as protestors ran up the east steps on January 6. I made this as a sealed exhibit that synchronized audio from Guandolo's own recording to the CCTV. Now it is public. Source:

One of the best features of the Southern Baptist Convention is that any messenger or member in good standing at a Southern Baptist Church sent on behalf of the church is qualified to make a motion impacting the entire Convention. The size of the church does not matter. This is my first SBC. What else should I know?

Yesterday, I made a motion on the Senate floor asking Randy McNally to appoint a conference committee to work on the Memphis-Shelby County Schools interventions bills so Representative Mark White and I can merge the House and Senate versions. Students at MSCS are hanging on like a hair in a biscuit because of chronic mismanagement in their school district. Rep. White and I are determined to get this done so we can finally improve educational outcomes for them. I will not back down to #MakeMemphisMatter. We have a city to save!

I asked the Liberal Housing Minister if he would at least come to committee to answer questions about the bill. He refused. The authoritarian Carney Liberals are undermining the work of Parliament.
