The Cornell Daily Sun says Day Hall was vandalized with messages including “SMASH THE PATRIARCHY” and “AT CORNELL RAPISTS ARE PROTECTED, PROTESTORS ARE EXPELLED.” A security camera... was also painted over. Those responsible reportedly linked the action to a lawsuit filed September 14 by a former student who alleges she was raped by seven members of Chi Phi fraternity in 2024. The broken glass has since been repaired, but the paint remains and the entrance is still closed.
