Something has definitely changed in the last ~6 months. When I look at other Teslas on the road, a huge number of them are now operating on FSD. More than ever before by a huge margin.. the tide is turning.

We would like the rest of the world to sort out the regulations and adopt FSD asap too:

That’s the real signal—daily-driving FSD in Texas makes the shift obvious. Roadster Oct 1 in Waco is the halo reveal, but supervised FSD is the product owners feel every day.

I have not noticed this. I'm in NJ. When I see a Tesla I try to take notice if the driver is using FSD. I hardly ever see anyone using FSD. Anyway, I ordered my Tesla Model Y this week. Can't wait to use FSD.

In the past 6 months, Tesla has logged 4-5 billion (with a B) FSD miles In the past 6 months there are zero confirmed fatalities that were FSD’s fault Compare to the 2025 national average of 1.1 fatalities in every 100 million miles of manual driving That is 40-50 lives saved!

This is why I will eventually be buying a Tesla.

I will own a Tesla one day. Human drivers are very often a menace.

I’ve noticed the same in even just the last 3 months since I got mine. I pay for FSD but love driving this car, and every time I pass one now I assume they’re FSDing.

Ummm—surprisingly, it didn’t show any outcome from the stock!

A lot of people buying the car for the FSD instead of EV aspect now.

@grok what fsd software release would correlate with this noticeable uptick?

Yes. Its fun to show people the tech that never seen it before. A lot of shock. I think two years from now it will be more well known.

A 6-month shift needs one control: intervention count per 100 miles before calling it progress.

Mine says 76% and I didn't even realize I did it that much.

This will add to margins. First sighting in SD.

The last couple of years I’ve felt like I’ve been wandering in the desert with FSD. No one had any idea two years ago or so it seemed.

I have still never seen one

I’ve noticed this while charging . I would say 30% would just let FSD pull back into the charging station

It’s a Bay of Fundy tide. Buy Tesla stock. You think it’s high now. The sky’s the limit.

I drive a Semi and yes it’s rare to see someone with a juniper not using FSD. This was not the case a few months ago.

Entire fleet has a 15% take rate for FSD. Model S and Model X were sitting near 50-60% take rate. Canceling the S/X line was foolish.

In Austin, I see a surprising amount of people driving their Teslas manually still. I don’t understand it.

I’m in Vegas and have still yet to see a single person using FSD. I guess I’m the only one.

More people are getting to experience it now. It only takes one time in the passenger or behind the wheel to be amazed.

lol and just how do you know they’re on FSD exactly? not everyone holds the wheels at two and 10
