This is one of those things that needs an awful lot of study before coming to a personal opinion. He was a failure as a man, a terrible husband and an awful father, but he was a genius. The allegations about him stealing work were first made by pro Nazi German scientists who didn't like the idea they were being shown up by a Jew. The letters between Maric and Einstein seem to disprove the argument it was her work, as does their divorce settlement.

I would be interested to know your source. This claim has been made and debunked numerous times. In particular it can be noted that Maric apparently published no significant scientific papers after their divorce.

Kane researched it throughly and met with scholars. There is a lot of evidence. Hardly surprising that without any rights that she wouldn’t be able to publish papers after her walked out on her. Was probably left in abject destitution.

That he treated her terribly is true. That she did all the work is unevidenced and highly unlikely. He also warned of Israel's fascist tendency in 1948, along with Hannah Arendt and others.
