Useful chart, but one important price detail looks off. BTC’s August high was ~$81.3k-$81.5k. That is a lower high vs the May 2026 peak near $82.8k, not a higher high. So this looks more like hidden bearish divergence at the $80k area (price LH, RSI more stretched) than classic bearish divergence. $83k is still a clean flip level. A dip toward $70k is possible, but August is still a strong green month from the $62k-$63k open. Sources:

Bearish divergence is worth watching, but divergence alone doesn’t guarantee a reversal. If BTC reclaims the resistance zone with strength, this setup could invalidate quickly. For now, both scenarios remain on the table.
