Just take the first 30–40 seconds to get your feet comfortable, get reacquainted with being under the lights for the first time in five years, throw a jab, manage the distance. The chances of Max getting caught with something like that just seemed so low. The risk-to-reward didn't feel like it was there. It's very easy to say in retrospect, but man... as tough as it gets. And to my understanding, there was no preexisting injury.

I’ve lived in New York for years and I’ve never seen this before. ⚡️ The sky was completely dark, but the same spot kept flashing over and over again with no thunder that I could hear. My best guess is distant lightning from a storm far enough away that the thunder isn’t reaching the city, but I’ve honestly never watched it happen like this before. Does anyone know if that’s what we’re looking at, or is there another explanation? 👀
