Something appeared on radar — and it wasn’t connected to any surrounding weather. On 12/24/25, Doppler radar over southern Nevada was behaving normally. The sweep to the east looked fine. Precipitation was tracking as expected. Then this showed up. It wasn’t tied to the sweep. It wasn’t moving with nearby returns. And it wasn’t acting like weather usually does.
