In Rust, error handling is opt-out, not opt-in. Alice Ryhl (Rust for Android at Google, Rust language advisor & Tokio maintainer) explains: “The other thing I think is quite good is error handling. So on one hand, Rust doesn't really use exceptions, so it actually returns the error as a value. So you return a value that's, using an enum, either the result or the error. And the way this is done is that there's an operator `?` - so you write: my_function and then a question mark at the end - which means if this function fails, return the error. So it's really easy to handle errors but it's not serial characters like it is with exceptions, so it's explicit. On the other hand, if you forget to put the question mark, that's a compilation error. So you have to check it, and of course you can also have it manually, but the point is it's this idea of there are these things where you write some code and there's some implicit error condition you didn't think of and now you just took down your server or something.”

This is a trope I love and I don't think I've seen it in Kamen Rider before. Where the big guy is so strong but too slow to make a hit so he needs his companions to help him land the hit. Like Piccolo-Raditz style. So cool.

I think drawing vehicles is one of the best ways to develop your drawing. The forms are relatively large and simple, but they're also subtly curved. And the proportions really matter. For example, if the wheels are too small, it immediately looks cartooned.

I might be wrong, but I don't think I'm wrong. I think before video was subordinated to life and so actually capture it. But I think it reflexivity changed it and normal life is subordinated to video, even if no one is filming. Something was lost.

controversial ending but I do think it works Energybending is an insane asspull but its not like its a form that doesnt make sense, and it was the only way to have Aang not kill Ozai while he still receives a fitting, if not worse, punishment

So I beat Castlevania and… it’s very very dated. I respect it for the franchise and whole genre it started, the multiple weapons are cool, but the difficulty is just so obnoxious with trial and error gameplay galore and some of the most bipolar difficulty for bosses ever. 5/10

I made the tests, and yes, the little monitor is flickering when someone is in but how does that help me if I've no view on it? I had no view on the front of the door in earlier pic. I also think, unless you've a window/pallet close, it's kinda a free hit. #DeadByDaylight #DbD

We're still one of the last generations that can talk about something. And because there are seven of us I think we can deliver a more pop-oriented and universal message. I actually think "SWIM" itself is a really good pop song but it was tied to the concept of Arirang, and then with our comeback we had so many things to do, so it was hard to give "SWIM" enough weight. Preach!!!!

I improved the VRChat cloth simulation, now it is actually rendered as a mesh and finally can handle self collision for proper folds. Also I moved the simulation to CRTs so it kinda works for non friends(the simulation is on the avatar!). But the collision still requires cameras.

When the outside is cute… but the inside…. 😬😬😬🤣 Sewing by hand with a simple needle and thread in a hotel room the night before doing something I’ve never done before. Being a ref! 👀 My fingers are still raw from sewing this! I honestly don’t know the proper way to sew or the correct techniques. I’ve learned everything thru trial/error and YouTube tutorials. But ayeee it works! 🤣 #ESTofWWE #wweraw
