Residents of Villa Ridge, Missouri are shaken up after a strong and destructive storm swept through the area on Friday night. The National Weather Service is now sending a team to survey the damage of what appeared to be a tornado, CBS News' Jason Allen reports. At least 11 fatalities have been reported in Missouri, according to the Missouri State Emergency Management Agency. So you're going to have people who are deciding, do I spend $500 to go to a doctor, or do I buy groceries? And those same people are the people you guys are saying are living in a safety jacuzzi. And some of these people are your voters. More than half the people in the marketplace live in Republican congressional districts. A part of me feels like you're getting the government you voted for, but the human in me can see the humanity in these people, more so than I've seen other people be able to extend and say they don't deserve to be without health care.

A 2023 study called “Particulate Matter Concentration and Composition in the New York City Subway System” tested the air at 287 stations and 333 platforms across the subway system. About 43% of the particles were iron — coming from train wheels grinding against rails and brake systems wearing down.
