Something that always seems to get overlooked whenever people complain about TLJ is that not only did Luke save the Resistance by using one of the most powerful Force abilities shown in canon (his galaxy-spanning projection), he died a greater hero & inspiration than ever before.

No. Last Jedi pretty much sealed the deal on how awful the sequels were. Rise of Skywalker put the nail in the coffin. What a piece of shit movie.

Strongly disagree.

A secret war. A galactic conspiracy. Dive into this bestselling sci-fi saga where the good guys lead a revolution to reshape the corrupt galactic empire. The Cadicle series is a space opera epic in the grand tradition, perfect for fans of stories about strong family and justice.

No, that movie was horrible. Every part.

Disagree.

Probably the best ending scene of the trilogy. The little Star Wars jingle when the kid is telling the story fills me with so much joy

Luke goes on the hero’s journey only to end up as a bitter, old hermit having lost all hope. He was THE hero for lot of us growing up in the 70’s & 80’s. A last minute final redemption isn’t enough to justify the 180° shift his character takes off screen. 1/2

They didn’t need to assassinate his character in order to do that. Making him “more powerful” doesn’t negate that.

Quick, someone tell us that the movie sucked, actually, because I PROMISE WE WILL CHANGE OUR MINDS this time! Eight years is long enough where I am fully willing to give up my belief that it's one of the greatest Star Wars films ever made because you said so.

"So you see kids.. having created the mess in the 1st place... and allowing thousands of people to die... Luke did a magic trick that helped Rey save the handful of people that were left" "But he's back now.. and everything will be OK?" "No, he's dead" "Yay, let's play Luke"

That’s cool, the movie still sucks tho
