⭐️: This is my first time saying this. I don’t have any religion, but I pray before going in. Seriously, about 30 seconds before going in. I pray that nobody gets hurt today. That for those who came, it wasn’t all for naught. Please. I go like this, to myself. Then I go on stage. This is my first time saying this. I wasn’t going to since it’s a bit embarrassing. But it’s my first time talking about a routine I’ve had for quite some time.

Taeyang giving us backstory to his Coachella hypeness 😭 ☀️: Before going on stage, since after all it’s also a stage we’re performing on for the first time in a long while, and since it’s so big - our members as well everyone working with us on set is a bit nervous. Everyone’s kind of tense and stiff like this, so I was trying to loosen that up a bit. I was trying to help ease the tension so I just looked at the camera and yelled “COACHELLA 😛😛😛!!!!!!!”

🐰 something i was really grateful about is that before the unicef speech, i was really really nervous so i contacted namjoon hyung and i was like “hyung, i’m going here and i’m really nervous” 🐰 about 30 minutes before the speech, namjoon hyung suddenly called me and he was like “fighting! there’s a video i watch when i’m nervous, i’ll send it to you” and then he sent it to me 🐰 he said “the people there aren’t going to be nervous, they’re going to be relaxed and comfortable while watching you. you’re the only one that’s nervous there so be relaxed while doing it too.” and come to think of it, it was true! it felt like i was the only one that’s nervous was nervous; the atmosphere there was lighter and more cheerful than expected so i was able to feel light hearted because hyung cheered me on like that ❤️ 🐰 i was so nervous the night before that i couldn’t fall asleep till 5-6am because my heart was beating too fast 🐰 it was the first time in ages i was that nervous 🐰 but it ended well so that’s good 👍

Q: did you know that Taeyang fell on stage? GD: I didn't know, I didn't know when I was on stage, even when I was monitoring the stage I still didn't realize it. I found the people that noticed it even more amazing. Q: what was Taeyang's reaction after that? GD: I asked him 'can you do it again? How did you do it just now?' but it seems that it was only possible bcs it was on stage, he tried to do it again but he couldn't. Q: how does it feel to perform at MAMA again after 9years? GD: Because I'm back after being on hiatus, every thing felt like it's my first time doing it all over again, since it's been a while so I was nervous, there was some excitement as well, I was a bit overwhelmed with emotions.
