Yusuf Adegunwa and one Jamiu like that have been attacking Christians and Isese for over 30yrs. There is this old Sheikh that recently died too who has been doing that for over 50yrs.... So my question is, why should laws be written based on the religious beliefs of a segment of society? Should we base out laws on science and not religion? Wouldn't that make a whole heck of a lot more sense? I don't what your religion telling me what is right and wrong.

If you need wealth to create more wealth, then why didn’t humans just stay stuck living in caves, scraping by forever? At some point, something changed. We went from barely surviving to building systems, institutions, and societies that can generate ongoing prosperity—at least in some places. This gets at a classic point from Thomas Sowell: the real question isn’t why some societies are poor, but why some are rich. That’s the harder question, and the more interesting one. And I think people miss this. Wealth isn’t just about having money. It requires work, discipline, the right mindset, and the kinds of social and economic conditions that allow it to grow in the first place.

If you want one philosophical book, read Meditations. Marcus Aurelius was a great General writing in his private diary and he never expected anyone to read it. It’s a treatise on accepting change, accepting your mortality, accepting that in this moment you could die. When you sit with that honestly, a lot of the fear and anxiety just releases. Lao Tzu put it simply: Think too much about the past and you get depression, think too much about the future and you get anxiety. The only place to live is in the moment. I don’t wake up and kick myself over the White House. I forgave myself for that a long time ago. You have to let it go. Not because it didn’t matter, but because carrying it doesn’t change anything. The present is where you find your home. That’s where everything actually is.
