Sometimes people will ask me what MCP servers I use and be surprised to find I actually don't use a lot of them. In general, I think MCP is relatively uninteresting for software developers. Let me explain why.

Comment “MCP” and I’ll DM you the servers I use every day Browser MCP tests apps for you, Magic MCP builds UI in seconds, and GitMCP links your AI to any repo. These are only 3 of the seven MCPs I use. Once you try them, you’ll never want to build with AI without them.

this tweet misses the gold of executor! the whole point is you don't want CLI / scripts, you want API / MCP servers in this video i ask executor to configure itself and add an MCP server - it pops up a browser for me to OAuth through based on the MCP elicitation spec

Q: how do you think for you personally your desire for validation and acceptance has impacted the way that you let people treat you? rosé: i have let people get away with I think a lot of things that has made me sad and like has made me cry. I think I let a lot of things make me really sad but i I’ve noticed this thing where i sometimes protect people and i don’t know why i would like to think I have a lot of love for certain people in my life but to a certain extent that I want to be validated by them and then their actions of making me sad or feel sad is forgiving and I turn that around and I understand them and then i would probably blame myself.

This Composio connect-apps plugin for Claude Code is 🔥 It's the easiest way to instantly connect Claude Code to 500+ apps like Gmail, Slack, GitHub, and Linear. You really don't need to be setting up MCP servers one by one. I use it a lot, and it has saved me a ton of time.

Chrome DevTools MCP is going to be a Swiss-Army knife MCP. Watch me use it here with Gemini CLI to open Google Scholar, search for a term, and save the top 5 PDFs to a local folder. I cannot stop thinking of all sorts of personal automation possibilities with this. Amazing release from the Chrome for Developers team!

Voice agents + MCP ... When I watched this code walk-through from Laserdisc Librarian, I thought "wait, why didn't she edit out the LLM making those mistakes at the beginning ... oh I get it, good demo!" Vanessa shows how to use multiple MCP servers via the new `MCPClient` class in Pipecat AI and mcp . run from dylibso.

Support for Agent Plugins is live in Cursor (and I made a plugin for searching X!) Agent Plugins combine Skills and MCP servers into a single package Think about them like an Ikea furniture kit: your table comes with instructions, parts, and tools. You use the instructions to understand how things work (which tools on which parts), then use the tools to assemble your furniture Agent Plugins are bundles of tools & resources that allow agents to accomplish a goal: - MCP servers: fixed context and tools - Skills: dynamic instructions, loaded progressively Plugins bundle tools and instructions so your agent is able to use tokens efficiently Many of us already use MCP servers and skills together - Agent Plugins formalize this pattern for more powerful workflows I'm excited to see where the standard takes us!

If you keep seeing "MCP" and nodding along without fully knowing what it means, this one's for you! A thread on what MCP actually is, and how to use it with Lovable.

Sharing the 4 Claude MCP servers I use the most lately. 1. TinyFish MCP lets Claude browse the live web, scrape, research, and return structured data instead of static answers. I’ve been using it to gather AI news for my newsletter, like pulling top Hacker News posts from the last few hours and summarizing them into a clean list. 2. GitHub MCP helps me review commits, trace changes, and understand repos without jumping between tools. 3. Figma MCP lets me inspect designs, check layout and spacing, and pull UI details directly into the conversation. 4. Excalidraw MCP is great for thinking visually. I use it to sketch flows and system ideas when text isn’t enough. The last few are probably familiar, but the first one is worth a look. I recorded a short video showing how it works in practice.

Trump on China and Russia: I think they will walk all over her. She will be so easy for them. She will be like a play toy.. And I don't want to say as to why. But a lot of people understand it

I really don't like being backseated but I also think out loud a lot which people often mistake for me asking the chat for help, so I made a "backseating signal" to let people know when I'm actually asking for help and its OK to backseat me 👍
