[ and most importantly DREAM big, DREAM about it, think about it, work for it, and do it every single day, while your sleeping think about it, when you eat, do it, when your walking do it, when your working think about it] In lab studies I’ve compiled tons of data for behavior in hopes of using it for marketing purposes However, it also if curated shows you the triggers people react to The mindset changes that curate and sway them to do more of x (in this case work and create insane drive to achieving a goal or YOUR goals) Remember, every stimuli, every reaction curates your mind. When you come in contact with whatever it may be it sways your future behavior & current attitude/ psychological state So at all times if you want it bad enough you should try to curate your environment (special music that gets you in the mood or NO music, depends on the person bc music distracts you thus means you work less OR if you’re brain storming then it helps) Take out all negative energy, comments, or bs that distracts you and breaks your momentum because one it breaks from the smallest thing then that snowballs and has a negative effect going forward Another thing that I personally like to do is read and put myself into those shoes. For me it’s business and mindset related books and nothing compares to John D. Build motivation and joy by watching others do it and building proof elements that it can really be done in your mind. Break the barriers and limits Movies are good for this, I like edits for this exact reason because yes it can lead you to doom scrolling but also it can be so so valuable in making you see that goal, want it even more and go for it. Two more games to round up the 2023 AFCON, my third AFCON experience. The lesson here for the next generation in journalism; Reporting the NPFL & domestic football/sports can take you globally, don't allow people to condition your mindset wrongly. If your dream is to travel around the world and cover international tournaments, trust me you will make it. If you have a directive that is strictly to monetize your content/job without traveling for tournaments, trust me you will achieve it. Anything you dream of about your journey in journalism, domestic content will take you there. Yes, sports journalism especially reporting domestic football/sports is a struggle, most times the pace is slow, very slow, but with consistency and hard work, you will get to the top of your dreams. Think about collaboration, make friends and expand your reach. Don’t set a mindset of competition, content and reportage is wide and the space is wide enough to accommodate all of us. Be yourself best and not to your colleagues. Journalism rolls like Football, those 5,000 meters ahead of you today, trust me you will catch up one day. This is the reason why collaboration with your colleagues is the pathway of sustainability. Also, as a believer of Christ, I do preach to people and colleagues to be prayerful, ask God to crown their work, and ask Him for grace and mercy. Divine blessing is from God and not from humans. He has promised to bless our work and He will surely bless your work and dreams. I’m excited to see a lot of colleagues and friends reporting the NPFL making their AFCON debut in Côte d’Ivoire, some of these young guys cracked the industry and secured sponsorships for this AFCON. The lesson here for the next generation in journalism; Reporting the NPFL & domestic football/sports can take you globally, don't allow people to condition your mindset wrongly. If your dream is to travel around the world and cover international tournaments, trust me you will make it. If you have a directive that is strictly to monetize your content/job without traveling for tournaments, trust me you will achieve it. Anything you dream of about your journey in journalism, domestic content will take you there. Yes, sports journalism especially reporting domestic football/sports is a struggle, most times the pace is slow, very slow, but with consistency and hard work, you will get to the top of your dreams. Think about collaboration, make friends and expand your reach. Don’t set a mindset of competition, content and reportage is wide and the space is wide enough to accommodate all of us. Be yourself best and not to your colleagues. Journalism rolls like Football, those 5,000 meters ahead of you today, trust me you will catch up one day. This is the reason why collaboration with your colleagues is the pathway of sustainability. Also, as a believer of Christ, I do preach to people and colleagues to be prayerful, ask God to crown their work, and ask Him for grace and mercy. Divine blessing is from God and not from humans. He has promised to bless our work and He will surely bless your work and dreams. I’m excited to see a lot of colleagues and friends reporting the NPFL making their AFCON debut in Côte d’Ivoire, some of these young guys cracked the industry and secured sponsorships for this AFCON. Finally, I want to thank you all for the engagement and support, I don’t take them for granted, and I’m honoured. #HelloBlessedPeople 🙏🏾 Unpopular opinion…but TRUTH nonetheless!! Ultimately, The key is NOT to ball up your fist, grit your teeth & try harder… It’s to TRUST DEEPER!! Many of us spend so much time trying to do more that we forget to spend time with the One who gives us the strength to do it all. TRUST is an ACTION WORD!! Abraham wasn’t perfect, but he trusted GOD enough to MOVE. He left what was comfortable because he trusted the CHARACTER of GOD more than the certainty of his circumstances. So let me ask YOU… How much INTENTIONAL time are you creating for your Creator? Because you & I know, we MAKE time for those things that we deem important!! So, instead of reaching for your phone to call or scroll… what if you reached for GOD’s Word? Instead of trying HARDER…what if you trusted DEEPER? Faith isn’t about having all the answers… It’s about having a relationship with & trusting the One who does!! Recognize your own limitations and surrender your struggles & perceived strengths to GOD, allowing His divine strength to take over and work through you! 2 Corinthians 12:9-11 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.
