Sonny Styles Every snap from his NFL preseason week 2 performance

Anyone with a strong opinion about this extremely vanilla film had that opinion before they ever watched this film.

He’s had basically zero reps that say a ton about his game. PFF graded him a 72 in both games and that’s exactly what the film looks like

Exactly Weird amiunt of hate for such a great player who hasn't even been asked to do anything yet

I think people are hating cause he was a top 10 pick and their just expecting splash plays I mean he looks good in this cut up I don’t know what else people want from him

No power. Arvell better

The coverage ability and range is generational

Coverage a+. Playing behind dt4s and still making an impact in the run game. Not sure what people want to see ??? He’s a lb.

He only made the top 10 because of his combine numbers. He was originally considered a top 20 pick before the combine.

Looks pretty solid. Coverage is top tier

Not a bad game from Sonny

Casuals will see this and think he played horribly

He’s not out there making plays yet but he’s in the right position most of the times. He will definitely have to let it loose during regular season

He just looks like a rookie and things happening too fast for him. He’ll be alright

He's not bad I mean this is his 2nd pre season game. The only problem I have is how fast he runs into a defender when the opponents run the ball. Feel like he can be a bit more patient.

Film was not bad at all. He’ll keep developing. Can’t get blocked as much as he does. Looked decent in the pass game though. He’s reading well, just has to trust his eyes and go.

Really bad instincts. That's worrisome.

He fluid as hell in coverage. In a pass first league I’m cool with the run stopping portion of his game developing slower if he goin take away lanes like this out the gate

don’t seem physical to me .

@MIDWESTJD dude gone be just fine. It's the 2nd preseason game ever he might've played 20 snaps. What are we doing?

Yes he is not a fully developed NFL LB yet People want microwaved results for a guy who’s overall new to the position. Players develop, just like people do in their lives

I watched Sonny since he was a kid, he played ball down the street from my crib and I played ball with his pops, he is gonna be good, I do wonder about greatness

@BreidenFehoko WATCH SONNY STYLES. On the play you cried about, he filled the gap and Joesphs lost contain.

struggling in the run game

People already calling him a bust cos of a leak in one big play ! You could see how he made the QB take better decisions with the ball

Why does he always look lost on the field?

He needs a lot of reps he just not confident/playing full speed

Now do barham #55

He’s really bad

Played great

Looks great in coverage, would love to see him get off blocks and downhill better but it’ll come in due time

He’s ass

Do David Walker next I’m begging

To me 🤷🏽‍♂️ get him out of the middle and put them on the edge or make them a nickel DB

Didn't get off the LG or C blocks even once. Very mediocre film in the phone booth.

He looks like my user in Madden. #ass
