Journalist Wajahat S. Khan has covered the Pakistani Army for years, including being embedded on various missions during the War on Terror. Analyzing footage from D-Square in Islamabad in which individuals can be seen on top of a building, from where civilians said bullets were being fired to target civilians, Wajahat Khan says, from his experience, “these are army personnel. 100% they are army men. Two spotters, and two snipers. They are using a range finder. Only the army has this equipment.” This analysis corroborates what many eyewitnesses including elected representatives and journalists have said, that snipers were used by the military government to target unarmed peaceful protesters. #IslamabadMassacre
