This is the most vulnerable and personal post I've ever made. While it has been 47 years in the making, the little boy and teen in me never thought they would reach this moment. This terrifying, gut-wrenching, cathartic moment of vulnerability and authenticity. Me, laid bare. Over the last 2 years, I've been on a profound journey of self-acceptance, peeling back layers of repression, fear, and self-loathing. Today, I'm sharing a bit of that deeply personal journey in this 11-minute video—something about me which, for so long, I wrongly tried to hide, then change, then cope with, but finally saw I needed to accept and allow to be a part of my design. I recognize that this will come as a shock for some, perhaps confirmation for others. This may dredge up complex, unexpected feelings for those who know and love me. Some of you might experience something akin to grief or need time to process—that's not only okay, it's completely natural. I understand. Change, even positive change toward authenticity, can feel disorienting for everyone involved. My love for each of you remains constant and unchanging. Thank you for accompanying me on my journey with whatever grace you can offer. Your presence in my life, however it evolves from here, means everything. And to my closest family and friends who still struggle with the feelings, fallout, and fears of fully seeing me and how to reconcile it all, I have been and will forever be here for you, with enduring love, doing the hard work of showing you how much you matter to me and how grateful that I am to be allowed to show you all of me.

Its not often Im lost for words, but last night this stopped me in my tracks. Just over 3 years ago my content changed alot when I went sober and I got a lot of stick for my shift in direction. After spending years trying to get back to doing comedy, to suddenly change was terrifying. But, my social media, my characters, my jokes and my content has always been in some way a reflection of my life and my life became a battle for change, I embarked on the most difficult journey of my life, its still a constant struggle, but talking about what drink & drugs were doing to my mental health and my family helped me understand and share what I was going through. Through that process Ive lost friends and family, followers, brand deals, business and I get constant criticism and negative comments when I discuss certain things, it can be triggering and to be honest a bit annoying im sure. But, there is a core group of you that have stuck with me for the comedy and let me talk about mental health, sobriety and the darkness some of us face, and a few of you that are here for the sobriety stuff but put up with my jokes along the way, to all of you thank you…. But.. Every now and then I see a comment, or a message, or at one of my live show’s someone says something like “You saved my life” and it hits me, its worth sharing, its worth the shame, embarrassment and comments, its all been worth it, because every now and then it really helps someone feel like they aren’t alone. And can change. Thank you mate, thank you for telling me that. I needed to hear it. x

They followed me every single time. And then as I’m trying to leave, the daughter, Paige, violently throws me to the ground... then the father, Chris, who again is 3 times my size, comes and slams me down to the ground. All of this is on camera. This is the third time that I have simply been conducting point-and-shoot journalism since Charlie had been assassinated, and people have come up to me and identified me as “working for TPUSA” and have made a point to threaten me, harass me, scream in my face, tell me Charlie deserved it. But this time, it turned very violent... I’m scared for the first time to say it, but I know that God's going to protect me… it needs to be done.”

Morning Update from Charleston: Blood work came back fine, they will be dealing with the kidney this afternoon and at that point we will know if the surgery is set or not. Current tentative plan is to admit me tonight with surgery tomorrow and a new life after that. Things can still go astray so I’m not in the clear just yet for surgery/transplant but everything is on track as of 10:30am. Thank you again to all that have stuck with me through this and been there for the journey. It has meant more than you will ever know, I am thankful to have those people in my life. Happy Monday and will have another update around 4-5pm.

Mark: It's been on my mind, and I just felt like I had to get this off my chest. And so I just felt like I had to turn this live on and to really just tell you guys how I felt regarding the T-shirt with the Confederate flag on it. I am aware of the pain that it brought to a lot of people, and especially to my black fans, to the black community. And I know that I should have. I am very responsible for it. But I really wanted to directly tell you guys that it really wasn't my intention, with me knowing the meaning of the flag, the historical significance of it. It really shouldn't have happened, and it really does not reflect who I am as a person. But seeing so many fans being hurt by it, it really hurt me as well. I had no intention knowing the meaning of the flag, and I should have. There are no excuses to that. But I just wanted to promise you guys directly that something like that will never happen again. With me and my whole team, we have made, we have taken steps to make sure that something like that doesn't happen. But I just, and I know that a lot of people have been waiting for me to kind of address this directly. And I've been sitting on this for a while, and I really wanted to get this off my chest. And so I thought today was the right time for me to tell you guys. It really breaks my heart to think that maybe the trust has been broken. But I promise you that I'll make it up to you guys, just with my actions and with my music. I'll make sure to make it up to you guys if you will allow me to have one more chance. I'll try my best in that. And so once again, I truly would like to apologize for the pain that that picture has brought to a lot of people. LIFE UPDATE: After three amazing years with KNWA & FOX24 News, I am so happy to announce that I've officially earned my meteorology degree with Mississippi State University! God has blessed me with so many things, and my passion for the weather has always been a significant part of my life! Back in May of 2022, I was attending a Naturals game at Arvest Ballpark and was getting ready to move to Starkville, MS to pursue a graduate degree with MSU. Little did I know, Dan Skoff would reach out to me over the phone with an offer to join the team! We talked extensively about my goals at the time, and ended up deciding that I would come into the studio one day to make a quick reel on the green screen. Two months later in July, I landed the job with KNWA and have been working here ever since then! In tandem with the job, I was also working tirelessly to earn my meteorology degree through Mississippi State. The process has been an absolute grind at times, but I wouldn't trade any of it for the world! This community is so special to me, and I couldn't be more thankful to work in this wonderful area! There are so many people that have supported me over the last three years to help me get to this point: Dan Skoff - Words cannot describe how much you mean to me man! You've been there with me every step of the way, and the knowledge I've gained from you has been invaluable! I’ve decided I’m going to be stepping away from X. Further to my post the other day about leaving journalism, I’ve been thinking about what I want to do going forward, and I just don’t see much purpose in being on here at the moment. I may come back to X in the future, particularly if I decide to stay within the political field, take on a role within politics, or find myself in a position where I feel X requires my attention. But until then, I’m going to be leaving it. I think stepping away from X also connects with my issues with the media more broadly. X has obviously become a huge part of that world, and at this point I just don’t feel it offers me much, especially when I don’t currently have a clear path in mind for what I’m doing next. If you want to stay in touch with me, plenty of people have my WhatsApp, so you’re more than welcome to shoot me a message. The Democratic Party I grew up with went into working towns and said we're going to make your lives better and they meant it. Let me tell you about a moment in May of 2016 that I've never forgotten. I was with Trump in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I started asking people why they were there. One young man told me his father had worked at a factory for 30 years. He'd been there 12. They closed it and he was working at Lowe's and delivering pizza at night. I got hit in the head with a rock in that moment because I grew up the same way. I looked at that young man and asked what should we do. He said I don't know, but we were once blue collar and economically aspirational. Now we're blue collar and economically desperational. This last year and a half has been quite a challenging and equally awesome time. I’ve faced a lot of backlash for what I sing about, which in some ways has set me back, but in many other ways has opened incredible new doors. I had no idea there were so many of us who felt the same way. We’re fed up with much of what’s going on in the world. The systems that don’t serve us but pretend to. The institutions that rob us and keep us dependent. But what has been so beautiful is discovering how many of us feel this together and genuinely want to create a future that uplifts and serves humanity, and each other. There are so many people working for good, working for the light. I hope the music and art I make can contribute to that in a great way. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you. “Alright guys, I was telling you… I’ve been a bit absent these past few days because, as you know, I was with Scarlett, so we spent a bit more time just for ourselves. But we didn’t miss the live at Vera’s place and Margarida and Tillie were there too. I hope you liked that livestream, it was a bit crazy, but at least we got to have a few laughs together. I’ve come back to my homeland—very cute, yeah. And yeah, now I’m here with you, all fresh, clean, and smelling nice after this morning’s flight, which was a disaster. Not only was it delayed by 45 minutes, but then there were another 40 minutes waiting in line…. And then another 40 minutes in line to get through passport control. Passport control, guys. Insane. I think there were multiple flights all at once—at some point nothing made sense anymore. People were cutting in line, pushing through—I mean, what even… just one line for passports. I understand people who had connections, but just say it, don’t just shove your way through, you know? You get me? You get me? Anyway, yeah guys, in the end we made it. I got back home, and yeah… me and Scar will see each other in a month—or honestly, I don’t even know when exactly. It’s a long-distance relationship, so it’s not like we’ll see each other every day or be together constantly. We knew that from the start, for sure. But sometimes it’s even nicer like this, because when you meet again you have so much more to share. But yeah, we’ll find a way to see each other—hopefully as soon as possible. And it’s okay like this. We don’t like things to be easy… at least, I don’t.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND WATCHING THIS VIDEO….. After my family deleted me I was in a horrible spot in my mind. People on Anonup used their hearts to keep me here. In my relationship with my wife we fought a lot about religion. I always walked in faith but the things they did in church not only looked retarded to me but actually hurt my soul so I never backed down when we fought over it.
