First-time mother Sisu has been incredible, caring for them and helping them reach every milestone. It’s been nearly 5 years since we’ve welcomed red panda cubs, and more than a decade since visitors have had the chance to see them raised by their mom. We can’t wait to share them with our guests — which could be any day now! I can’t help but smile whenever I think of the image of a bear casually floating on an inflatable raft in a swimming pool. Not in a zoo, and not in a cartoon, but right in the backyard of an ordinary home 🐻💓 Ricardo and Brian live in the first house right next to a national forest. When they first moved in, they were warned that the area was home to many bears. But they never expected those furry visitors to choose their swimming pool as their favorite place to cool off. The first time they noticed the pool water moving strangely, they were completely caught off guard. A bear was swimming around as naturally as if the pool belonged to him. Instead of screaming or chasing it away, they simply stood back, watched, and started recording. From then on, the bears began showing up more often. Some would simply lie in the water for a while before casually wandering back into the forest. Others seemed to enjoy playing with the floating pool toys like children. And Maddie, the female bear they became most familiar with, practically became a regular visitor. The most memorable moment came when Maddie brought along her two cubs. The two little bears were still very young, toddling around the edge of the pool while their mother leisurely swam from one end to the other. Ricardo and Brian said they were both surprised and deeply moved. The fact that a mother bear felt comfortable enough to bring her cubs there seemed to say a great deal. What I like most about this story is not only how adorable the bears are, but also the way the two homeowners respond to them. When I saw the mask "Tribes of the Calf" from Kanbas I knew I had to make it into reality. The jewelry and gold really made it stand out for me. Since Sam Spratt's The Masquerade was revealed, I have been spending time sculpting and dissecting the mask to recreate it in 3D as faithfully as possible. I delved into the creation of this mask for many reasons. I love a good challenge and this mask surely was one for me. Creating something in 3D from a 2D image is not easy, and especially when the source has generative nature, some stuff is hard to interpret, but I tried my best to make sure the visual integrity of the mask is as close to the original as possible. Splitting the whole mask into parts, filling the missing pieces so I can build the textures was quite a lot of work. I tried to present the mask in my own style with a slightly different colorway to adapt to the mask itself. Please enjoy this short animation, and turn on sound🔊 This piece is my statement that I am here to stay. That I have a voice that often feels being lost in the void. That I have been creating and posting digital art for over 20 years now and will continue until I'm gone. I have a story to tell and I want to be heard. The space we have here is small, and is shrinking day by day. It doesn't have to be like that. We need to support each other and push ourselves and people here, otherwise we are all doomed. As Kanbas has put in their observation of the mask: "Inspirational. Emotional. Natural." This is what our space can be, and this is me making a statement with this homage. 🚫𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆: 𝐋𝐎𝐍𝐆 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐒𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐘 𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐓 𝐀𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐃🚫 Hi Everyone I said I would post after debut but turns out I needed some extra time to recover (more tired than I thought) but now it's 2 days later so here we go… I wanted to start by saying THANK YOU ALL!❤️ The support and love I’ve gotten from everyone, creators and viewers alike, has honestly been nothing short of mind-blowing and exceeds anything I could have ever dreamed of. There have been creators that I've looked up to for years, that have reached out in some way or another, and that experience is enough to make me want to curl up into a ball and violently cry😭 I first started making videos around 2 years ago just for fun, and started streaming around 1.5 years ago, and to get this far has exceeded my whilst dreams. (For context I thought 1k subs in 5 years would have been INSANE) My whole life I've been on the straight and narrow, keeping things pretty safe… It was just how I was raised. But late last year, I did a lot of reflecting on what I really wanted to do in life, and what made me the happiest. This year I'm taking perhaps my first and biggest risk, and trying to do content full time. It's been rocky, chaotic and exhausting but I'm finally doing something I'm passionate about. 🚫𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆: 𝐋𝐎𝐍𝐆 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐒𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐘 𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐓 𝐀𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐃🚫 Hi Everyone I said I would post after debut but turns out I needed some extra time to recover (more tired than I thought) but now it's 2 days later so here we go… I wanted to start by saying THANK YOU ALL!❤️ The support and love I’ve gotten from everyone, creators and viewers alike, has honestly been nothing short of mind-blowing and exceeds anything I could have ever dreamed of. There have been creators that I've looked up to for years, that have reached out in some way or another, and that experience is enough to make me want to curl up into a ball and violently cry😭 I first started making videos around 2 years ago just for fun, and started streaming around 1.5 years ago, and to get this far has exceeded my whilst dreams. (For context I thought 1k subs in 5 years would have been INSANE) My whole life I've been on the straight and narrow, keeping things pretty safe… It was just how I was raised. But late last year, I did a lot of reflecting on what I really wanted to do in life, and what made me the happiest. This year I'm taking perhaps my first and biggest risk, and trying to do content full time. It's been rocky, chaotic and exhausting but I'm finally doing something I'm passionate about. And it's all thanks to you, thank you so much❤️ Everyone's kind words and support has been overwhelming, and the fact that it's enabled me to at least try full time content is extremely humbling and you have all made me the happiest mafia bull man alive.
