A similar situation.

This is from my dashcam.

100% A 3 lane road doesn't mean that there has to be 3 vehicles in each lane - it just increases the risk, try to maintain distance and drive on lesser traffic spots

The driver was irresponsible. Didn't pay attention to the wheels of the bus. Tried to squeeze in between 2 vehicles. You should always drive safely. If you overspeed it'll hardly save you 30-40 mins. Those minutes are not worth losing your life over. Drive safe.

Always flips your lights on or honk to let them know you are passing close

lights help at night but at day, we have to ensure there's enough CAS by observing the wheels etc. Horns help as well.

True. Always avoid a situation which can lead to three vehicles being next to each other.

To be honest, buses shouldn’t be changing lanes without using their indicators. Also, the Creta on the right isn’t driving at the required speed for the fast lane. So, it makes sense for the dashcam driver to use the middle lane to overtake both vehicles.

But not enough to avoid a crash. Being right is not enough to avoid a crash .

No CAS. Wheels of the bus had already touched the lane marking and there's a car to the right. Enough reasons to not move ahead
