In my first week at Generalist, I trained a robot to pour liquids using GEN-1 🤖💧 I wanted to challenge the robot with a non-rigid manipulation task, so liquid felt like the perfect choice. The task involved: - unscrewing the bottle cap - pouring liquid into espresso glasses - rebalancing uneven pours Best of all, the robot was able to complete the task fully autonomously 3 times in a row (out of 3)! Pour-fect 😉 Excited for the journey ahead and grateful to be building alongside such an incredible team!

Why did Liquid look so bad on T? After looking through a couple of Liquid Demos. I’ve tried to pick a round, which showcases how off page they can be in mid round situations. It’s clear that there’s a lack of communication and trust. YEKINDAR tries to play off his instincts. Skullz is completely off timing wise. It felt like Liquid didn't have the right combination of players at times.

It can be assembled into various forms depending on the scenario, including bipedal, wheeled, and humanoid torso configurations, and its end effectors are also interchangeable. Each form of the robot is driven by a VLA model. It can perform complex movements and can also be integrated into existing workflows to perform tasks. It's worth mentioning that this solves the problem of which type of humanoid robot to use. Each user can assemble the robot in a configuration that suits their specific scenario, making it truly flexible and versatile – it doesn't necessarily have to be bipedal or wheeled... I look forward to seeing more real-world use cases.
