But why the abruptness though? Couldn’t they make an announcement 30-90 days prior. Did they stop selling tickets in advance?

As crew were in competition however when something like this happens we are as one. This happened to me in 2019 when Thomas Cook went under and the outpouring of love from our wider airline colleagues was AMAZING. Hope all these Spirit employees get help and support they need.

Everybody mad the US gov didn’t “save them”. Huh? How about you be made the leadership of spirit for running a business that was unprofitable.
