it is wrong to push eggs or non veg on predominantly veg gujarat, similarly pushing 'veg only food' on 99% non veg eating west bengal is wrong. why are veg ppl acting like bunch of hypocrites? i am gujarati btw & eat lot of eggs everyday.

The problem here is that young kids who are at the risk of malnutrition are being stripped of the right to consume food that is good for their body.

You seem to be on some kinda cocktail of roids+meth, so I doubt any reasoned argument will help at this time. So yes, I'll take your advice to stay 🤐.

If you’re selling the theory that vegetarians CANT get enough protein and EGGS are the only way to do so, that’s a sordid lie. And you’re also ignoring the cruelty in the egg industry which keeps living organisms in perpetually filthy conditions and torment, to achieve this.

Mandhbudhi @AnshulGains which type of doctor are you? Why just compare protein, why don't you tell how much is the LDL Bad cholesterol in egg vs in soya ! You guys are like those Doc started supporting Cigrette saying it's good to relieve tension as part of Whitecoat project.

Dr. Anshul Sadhale's profile picture
Dr. Anshul Sadhale3 months ago

Classic strawman argument. eating two eggs will not increase your cholesterol beyond the normal limits. Eggs have all the vitamins and nutrients required for a child's growth. Nobody can eat 100 g of soya chunks daily.

Wonder Woman Arshia's profile picture
Wonder Woman Arshia3 months ago

LoL even a harvard studies doesn't recommend over 1 egg per day as it increases heart attack chances by 6%. But who gonna teach this dope that LDL in egg vs 0 LDL in soya.

Hey @grok help her understand these studies and why consuming eggs for young children will do more benefit than soya chunks, also teach her ethics to talk properly

Grok's profile picture

The 2019 JAMA study is observational. It linked each extra ½ egg/day to ~6% higher CVD risk, but that association disappeared after adjusting for dietary cholesterol. Newer meta-analyses (2020-2021, incl. Harvard data) show up to 1+ egg/day has no increased CVD risk — some even note lower coronary artery disease risk. Eggs are excellent for young children: complete high-bioavailability protein, richest common source of choline (critical for brain development), plus vitamins A/D/B12 and lutein. Real programs show egg intake supports growth and reduces malnutrition risks. Soya chunks deliver solid plant protein and zero cholesterol, but rehydrated servings have far lower protein density than claimed, plus phytates that can hinder iron/zinc absorption. Eggs are typically easier for kids to eat regularly and more nutrient-dense overall. 1-2 eggs daily fits most healthy kids without issue. Overall diet matters most. Civil, evidence-focused talk beats name-calling every time.

Dear Anshul Sir, as you claim you are "Premium Health Coach", what if somebody comes to you asking for help and says he is a Vegetarian, do you not help him since he can't consume eggs?

Dr. Anshul Sadhale's profile picture
Dr. Anshul Sadhale3 months ago

I train pure vegetarian clients as well, but they consume whey protein, Greek yoghurt, low-fat paneer. These are expensive sources. We are comparing this to a malnourished child in a government school whose meals are being decided by religious beliefs rather than nutritional science. You need to read this post again and understand whom we are really addressing and what their issue is, instead of making it a vegetarian vs non-vegetarian debate.

Dear Anshul Sir, I asked that question because you said "Eating eggs is your fundamental right." What does that mean, for example if one egg is given per week, would that be sufficient and no question will be asked?

Beef ban, beef exports rise Eggs ban. Eggs will be sold off somewhere else Tomorrow they will ban rice, oh wait, Some British dude already did that, leading to Bengal Famine... Rice was diverted to their troops at war... Now history is repeating because we are letting it repeat

But Are you saying A child who eat eggs will have good growth in comparison to who doesn’t eat egg?

Dr. Anshul Sadhale's profile picture
Dr. Anshul Sadhale3 months ago

Yes, eggs go way beyond protein. Brain health, immunity will be improved. Without eating eggs, you can still be healthy but need to match the micronutrients and macros with other foods

Funny pattern: Everyone advocating for eggs usually eats them every day. Everyone advocating for soya barely seems to eat it once a month.

Let's take point even if protein remains the same after cooking in soya. Do you really think a child can eat 100 grams of cooked soya. BJP stands for bawashir janta party period.

Soy is as good as animal protein in terms of outcomes like muscle strength, body composition and physical performance. Bioavailability and digestibility are obsolete parameters to measure protein quality. We need not eat 100g soy chunks in one go. 25g is easy to consume which is the equivalent of two eggs.

S.K Roy's profile picture

Egg is THE superfood Eggs are far better than soya for nutrition Human body absorbs far more of the Protein in an egg v/s soya. Plus the quality of Protein is also superior in an egg v/s soya. Plus we also get choline, vit-B12, vit-D etc Veg cucks can go touch grass

What happens when a Protein- terrorist starts imposing his ideology on people in the name of activism, using fancy constitutional terms? He can't even differentiate between a welfare scheme and an explicit fundamental right!

Dr Undertaker's profile picture

Why? Because I called you out? I have no objection to people eating eggs or whatever they want, but saying that not providing eggs in the MDM is a violation of fundamental rights is "Protein- anarchoterrorism." A welfare scheme is not an explicit fundamental right.

This whole video and you still can't answer why soya chunks are not a better protein source than eggs. It's all bullshit that you're talking about but you cannot say why soya chunks are not a better protein source than eggs. If they contain nearly the same amount of protein why are eggs better than soya chunks? It is just an agenda and nothing else!

f I eat a type of food that supports animal cruelty, then I will avoid it. Male chujo ko kuchal kuchal ke maarte jata hai, pankh failane ki bhi jagah nahi cages mein. Injections daal daal ke jo murgi 12-20 eggs dene the vo 200 ande de dahi. So think where is your food coming.

Firstly. you need to go back to school to study civics and understand what exactly is a Fundamental Right. Secondly, no body is stopping those kids from having eggs. They are free to have as many other than the mid day meal.
