Space shuttle Endeavour passed over the LA area before making its final landing in Los Angeles International Airport in 2012.

We Americans used to create things like that. Now we argue about hooker bribes, bathrooms and people who want to be a different sex than they were born into.

I was at Vandenberg AFB just up the coast. She did a low flyover there just before heading to LA. What a sight it was. Will never forget it.
