Demi Lovato literally collaborated with the Jonas Brothers to write "La La Land," a song about staying true to yourself despite the pressures of Hollywood. She was calling out Hollywood's fake expectations at the very start of her career and doing it under the Disney umbrella. The music video even featured the entire Sonny With a Chance cast to help promote the show. Trying to erase Demi from Disney Channel's golden era is just rewriting history, y'all. It's also one of my favorite Demi songs ever. The message was way ahead of its time, and keep in mind she was only 15 years old when she made it. Her impact during her Disney years should never be underestimated. When Demi had her moment, she absolutely owned Disney. You can never erase the mark she left on that era. She is by far one of, if not, the strongest singer to came out from Disney Channel and I stand by that statement 🤷

Want to create an avatar from a single image? FlexAvatar is a transformer model that creates full 360°, high-quality, and expressive 3D head avatar from just a single portrait image in minutes. Real-time Demo: FlexAvatar's lightweight architecture allows both animation and rendering in real-time, enabling interactive user experiences. To create a new 3D head avatar, only one image is required, e.g., from a webcam. The final avatar is ready after 2 minutes. Architecture: Under the hood, FlexAvatar adopts a transformer-based encoder-decoder design. The encoder maps the input image onto a latent avatar space, while the decoder produces 3D Gaussian attribute maps by incorporating the animation signal via cross-attention. The model learns all facial animations directly from the data without relying on pre-built 3D face models. This equips the avatars with realistic facial expressions. The internal avatar latent space can be conveniently used to integrate additional observations of a person via fitting. This enables use-cases where more than one image of a person is available, e.g., from a phone scan of the person. We train jointly on 2D monocular videos and multi-view data. However, in monocular videos, the animation signal leaks the target viewpoint, causing the model to produce incomplete 3D heads. We call this phenomenon entanglement of driving signal and target viewpoint. To prevent entanglement, we introduce bias sinks. These are learnable tokens that indicate whether a training sample stems from a monocular or a multi-view dataset. During training, the model learns to produce incomplete 3D heads only when the monocular token is present. During inference, FlexAvatar then always uses the multi-view token for which the model has learned to produce complete 3D heads. Stratosphere was our biggest and heaviest character on #Transformers ROTB. He was a real challenge to deal with on the Modeling, Texturing, and Rendering side. He had 1434 UDIMs due to his immense scale and was made up of tens of thousands of objects. His level of detail was truly something else. His vehicle form was also a behemoth. We had also built a mortar for his robot form and a cannon for his vehicle form but neither of these made it into the film as his part in the final battle was cut out. He was originally supposed to help out in the final battle, using both of these weapons against the Sweepers and Predacons. The decision to cut him from the final act came very late as all of his assets were final at that point. We were never told the reason why his role was cut from the film. I had to re-design my texturing system in Mari when working on him to ensure that it could handle such a complex and large character. I had to simplify a lot of the procedural systems and even had to branch off some of them into their own files to ensure that artists could work with somewhat decent performance. We ran into a lot of issues pushing him through our pipeline, both as a model as well as rendering him due to the sheer amount of objects and textures that had to be processed. For shots, it was requested by Lighting that we reduce his memory footprint as Google had complained he was taking up too much memory and their I/O for rendering on the cloud was being affected. The leadership team and I decided that the best way to do this was to half the texel density on the parts that wouldn't be visible in our approved shots and to also half the resolution of the textures in the parts not visible to camera. This allowed us to optimize his memory footprint both in shots as well as storage and I/O. It was massive technical undertaking working on Stratosphere, so much so that we had to delay getting him into shots as we simply couldn't push him through with our normal tooling. I really enjoyed the challenge that he posed for us as a team. What seemed like an intractable problem is now possible: To design proteins with a specified nonlinear mechanical response, capturing complex folding and unfolding mechanisms in singe and few-shot computations. We present ForceGen, an end-to-end algorithm for de novo protein generation based on nonlinear mechanical unfolding responses. Rooted in the physics of protein mechanics, this generative strategy provides a powerful way to design new proteins rapidly, including exquisite and rapid predictions about their dynamical behavior. Proteins, like any other mechanical object, respond to forces in peculiar ways. Think of the different response you'd get from pulling on a steel cable versus pulling on a rubber band, or the difference between honey and glass. Now, we can design proteins with a set of desirable mechanical characteristics, with applications from health to sustainable plastics. The key to solving this problem was to integrate a protein language model with denoising diffusion methods, and using accurate atomistic-level physical simulation data to endow the model a first-principles understanding. ForceGen can solve both forward and inverse tasks: In the forward task, we can predict how stable a protein is, how it will unfold and what the forces involved are, all given just the sequence of amino acids. In the inverse task, we can design new proteins that meet complex nonlinear mechanical signature targets. The mechanics of proteins are critical elements of many living systems - as evidenced in many studies of mechanobiology. Through evolution, nature has presented a set of remarkable protein materials with unique mechanical functions like elastins, silks, keratins or collagens that play crucial roles in biology. However, going beyond natural designs to discover proteins that meet specified mechanical properties remains challenging. So far, the only way to do this was to use existing evolutionary concepts or to manually alter proteins. With our new generative model we can directly design proteins to meet complex nonlinear mechanical property-design objectives. ForceGen leverages deep knowledge on protein sequences from a pretrained protein language model and maps mechanical unfolding responses to create proteins. Via full-atom molecular simulations for direct validation from physical and chemical principles, we demonstrate that the designed proteins are de novo, and fulfill the targeted mechanical properties, including unfolding energy and mechanical strength, and a detailed unfolding force-separation curves. ForceGen offers rapid pathways to explore the enormous mechanobiological protein sequence space unconstrained by biological synthesis, to enable the discovery of new protein materials with superior mechanical properties. Success! 🚀 🇨🇦 At 3:45 PM EDT on Friday May 16th, 2025, we successfully tested both our new orbital Darkhorse engine test cell and our new third generation 3D printed Hadfield liquid rocket engine for the first time, marking a significant step towards Canada’s first commercial space launch. The test ran for 7 seconds at our propulsion test range, a company-owned secure site in Northeastern Ontario, successfully delivering nominal thrust, active cooling, and impulse results. This major test of the Darkhorse test cell and Hadfield Mk III engine lays the groundwork for NordSpace's Tundra orbital rocket, as the test cell is specifically designed to integrate with our turbo pump assembly in the next phase of propulsion development. Long duration tests are scheduled for the coming days, along with refinements to fuel mixture ratios and higher-pressure scenarios to test the limits of Darkhorse and our new engines. Minor upgrades and fixes to address a harmless leak in the cryogenic liquid oxygen line and design changes to our experimental control rods have already been made. Hot on the heels of our successful integrated test of our Taiga sub-orbital launch vehicle back in January, rapid developments and approvals at our spaceport in Newfoundland and Labrador, announcement of the SHARP (Supersonics and Hypersonics Applications Research Program), hosting the inaugural Canadian Space Launch Conference in Ottawa, and more - NordSpace is strengthening its position every day to ensure sovereign space launch is not just possible, but probable for Canada. Our historic first experimental flight is scheduled for 2025 from our spaceport, Spaceport Canada. NordSpace's CEO and founder, Rahul Goel, said “This successful test is not only a testament to NordSpace’s unmatched technical competency, but also to the success of our new project management framework, design philosophy, and engineering mindset used to deliver results for complex projects on time and within budget. 🧵06/34 Narrow vs General AI --- At first glance, this AGI being generally capable in multiple domains looks like a group of many narrow AIs combined, but that is not a correct way to think about it. It is actually more like… a species, a new life form. To illustrate the point, we’ll compare the general AGI of the near future with a currently existing narrow AI that is optimised at playing chess. Both of them are able to comfortably win a game of chess against any human on earth, every time. And both of them win by making plans and setting goals. The main goal is to achieve checkmate. This is the final destination or otherwise called Terminal Goal. In order to get there though it needs to work on smaller problems, what the AI research geeks call instrumental goals. For example: • attack and capture the opponent’s pieces • defend my pieces • strategically dominate the cetre (etc..) All these instrumental goals have something in common: they only make sense in its narrow world of chess. If you place this Narrow Chess AI behind the wheel of a car, it will simply crash, as it can not work on goals unrelated to chess, like driving. Its model doesn’t have a concept for space, time or movement for that matter. In contrast the AGI by design has no limit on what problems it can work on. So when it tries to figure out a solution to a main problem, the sub-problems it chooses to work on can be anything... literally any path out of the infinite possibilities allowed within the laws of physics and nature.

When I saw the mask "Tribes of the Calf" from Kanbas I knew I had to make it into reality. The jewelry and gold really made it stand out for me. Since Sam Spratt's The Masquerade was revealed, I have been spending time sculpting and dissecting the mask to recreate it in 3D as faithfully as possible. I delved into the creation of this mask for many reasons. I love a good challenge and this mask surely was one for me. Creating something in 3D from a 2D image is not easy, and especially when the source has generative nature, some stuff is hard to interpret, but I tried my best to make sure the visual integrity of the mask is as close to the original as possible. Splitting the whole mask into parts, filling the missing pieces so I can build the textures was quite a lot of work. I tried to present the mask in my own style with a slightly different colorway to adapt to the mask itself. Please enjoy this short animation, and turn on sound🔊 This piece is my statement that I am here to stay. That I have a voice that often feels being lost in the void. That I have been creating and posting digital art for over 20 years now and will continue until I'm gone. I have a story to tell and I want to be heard. My AI made Shopify pages are getting better and better everyday Here’s an example of a Shopify section I built with the reference page and the result on my store 👇 Guide: To make good AI landing pages, you need to use the same method as making good AI UGC or AI product images you have to take something that's already good as a reference for Claude/gemini to analyze and adapt for your product/brand for now you can't adapt full landing pages to your product because the Claude context gets bloated fast and you get poor output. Listicles are the only kind of page you can "one shot" with Claude. But Product pages are another story Analyze an existing page and adapting it to your product section by section is the way to go. The results are 10x better. here's an example (on the video): 1- I found this good product section from im8's product page. I screen-recorded the section on both desktop and mobile, going through the animations to capture the dynamism that a screenshot wouldn’t show. Then I asked Claude Web or Gemini to analyze the recording and produce a very detailed report. Full prompt is on my TG channel, it's quite long. 2- then ask Claude (inside your Shopify brand project folder): "I have a detailed UI/UX specification document for a product page section I want to adapt to my product. Recreate this exactly on Shopify as a section template and adapt it to [name of the product] using the brand guidelines" (paste the result prompt from step 1 ). 3- you will have your section ready after 3-4 minutes. you'll probably have to change a few things. spacing, small visual bugs, price not appearing correctly. it will take you 5 minutes maximum. 4- then you can ask Claude to make 4 different variations of the section using different designs and pick the best one using this prompt: "Create 4 design variations of this section. Keep the content and layout structure identical across all, only vary the visual treatment (color usage, typography hierarchy, spacing, component styling). I will choose the one I like the most." after that you have a pretty good section, and you can do the process again for all sections of the page. The less complex the section, the faster the process will be. note: I know the AI result is not perfect, but it's pretty impressive imo and it will only get better.

Unpopular opinion: ( maybe not anymore ) Shadow might be the worst thing that happened to $TROLL, yesterday’s space only reinforced my view. Imagine being a fund or whale looking into the most recognizable meme in internet history and the loudest voice representing it is talking about is a crashout, shilling the next Solana shitter, the next Robinhood play, and whatever shiny object comes next. He helped get the coin on Coinbase and instead of using that momentum to make $Troll undeniable, he kept siphoning attention into new “Sol Shitters” Robinhood plays, and whatever came next. Now those side plays are in the gutter, Pumpfun seemingly isn’t supporting him the same way, and the $TROLL community is left dealing with the consequences. But maybe that was always the conflict. It is not in a pumpfuns best interest for one community owned coin to build conviction, reach billions, and hold people’s liquidity for years. That slows down rotations. That slows down new deployments. That slows down the entire casino. Their business model needs people constantly abandoning yesterday’s coin to gamble on tomorrow’s launch. $TROLL needed someone willing to protect the community’s attention. Counter Strike hacking is one of my guilty pleasures. This is a video of an AI tool built into one of the most popular HvH cheats on the market. HvH (Hack vs. Hack) is a game mode where everyone in the lobby is cheating. “If everyone is cheating, then how is it fun?” The game becomes something entirely different in this mode. Instead of focusing on physical reaction time, aim, and movement skills, players must concentrate on the quality of their cheats compared to those used by their opponents. The game essentially turns into a sandbox for software optimization, where cheaters compete against each other to see who has the better-written code and configuration. Players must use every tool available to keep up with everyone else in the scene. My favorite cheat, Anti-Aim (AA), is used to help protect players from getting shot by cleverly exploiting the game mechanics to fake the angle of their hitbox. It works by choking abs yaw packets to exploit a coding error in the game, causing your model’s position to appear bugged to other players. The server processes each command sent by the client in the order it receives them, then it updates animations for each command. After this, the server takes the latest information it has and sends it to other players. If you choke packets, you will essentially send all of your choked commands at the same time. Again, the server will look at what’s latest and send that to other players. Now, you should see the issue clearly: the client is missing loads of information and will start updating animations with incorrect information. This will lead to numerous inaccuracies in their animation state, most importantly their abs yaw (m_flGoalFeetyaw), which indicates where their feet are pointing. The creation of Anti-aim techniques significantly disrupted gameplay, giving users an extra unfair advantage. This compelled players to devise a solution— Resolvers are used to counter anti-aim by determining where the player’s hitbox actually is. One commonly used type of resolver is the old angle resolver. Old angle resolvers work by storing the previous angles from when the player wasn’t faking their position and later shooting at them. —forcing both sides—Anti-Aim developers and Resolver developers—to continuously improve their code and technique. HvH is an ever-evolving arms race where staying ahead is as much about innovation as it is about execution. Code rules all, and hitting p is the only goal. That’s what keeps me coming back.
