China launches the Gravity-1 rocket from the open sea for the first time, marking a major step forward in its commercial space ambitions. The sea-based launch successfully placed nine satellites into orbit, including six Dongpo-series satellites designed for 24/7 Earth observation in all weather conditions, alongside other satellites for resource exploration, agriculture, forestry, environmental monitoring, urban planning, and testing next-generation space technologies. The mission highlights China’s growing capabilities in commercial space launch services and its push to build a more flexible and advanced space ecosystem.

.President Donald J. Trump created the Artemis Program and the Space Force, and now he has established a bold vision for America’s future in space. His executive order looks beyond single missions and toward lasting capability: a sustained American presence on the Moon, nuclear power and propulsion systems, groundbreaking scientific discoveries, and a thriving orbital economy that can serve as a force multiplier for NASA. That clarity of direction matters, and it gives NASA and its partners a strong foundation to execute on these bold objectives. Thank you to My View with Lara Trump for having me on to discuss America’s exciting future in space.

#WATCH | Bengaluru Space Expo 2026 | Chairman of IN-SPACe, Dr Pawan Kumar Goenka, says, "For the many nations that are expanding into space, across Africa, the Gulf, our own neighbourhood, and beyond, India offers something shaped by its own destiny. A committed end-to-end partner... India can walk that road with you and stay for the long term. We know what it is like to build a space programme against all the odds and to be helped by partners who treated us as equals. That is the partner India intends to be to every nation that seeks to rise in space... Let us move from memorandum to joint missions, from discussions to shared programmes. India wishes to grow with the world, not apart from it."

I want to fund a space warfighting prime. Space is a unique domain. It's huge, hostile, and fragile — so we need tech that can help America secure outer space *while preserving the domain itself.* If you're thinking about the future of space and defense, please get in touch.

☀️ A small look at something in progress for Kitten Space Agency. Solar panels are starting to take shape, opening up new ways to generate power beyond fuel-based systems. Still early, but a step toward mission design and longer-duration space flights. #space #spacesim #gamedev
