SpaceX successfully caught a rocket booster mid-air for the second time in history

That catch was on January 16, 2025, during the seventh integrated flight test (IFT-7), the booster returned to the launch site in Boca Chica, Texas, where it was caught by the "mechazilla" tower arms, following the first successful catch on October 13, 2024.
