You can do a lot with redirecting his Wall Launch with geometry. I just tried to see what would happen on very low ceilings. This was just an hour of learning experimenting. The skill ceiling is not even close yet.

Melee is movement tech and no one uses it... You can use the Melee Lunge to overcome some slowdown effects. Which includes traps and the slowdown from Fall-Stun.

Ok so Highguard Episode 2 removed a super dope Movement tech that i feel was actually very good for the game. Mantle-Glide. Originally discovered by injy. There was a momentum carry system in place that "remembered" your speed before a mantle and carried it after the mantle ended. This worked from low to high speeds. Redmane for example could fly out of a mantle with his gun out. What i'm most disappointed by is that this also affects fairly low velocity Mantle-glides. You could skipjump into a Mantle, and with good timing could skipjump out of the Mantle-Glide carrying over a bit of the first skip-jump making the one after the mantle stronger. This opened up sooooo many parkour routes. And was exactly the type of nuanced micro movement tech i was missing from the game. I was just starting to explore the Maps with it and would have covered it in my Movement Guide. I would have argued that it should totally stay even if it was unintentional. I get that they might have wanted to clamp down on some of the Warden combinations. But that the low speed version also got axed just sucks :(

Be respawn: Make super interesting climbing system that spawns countless of ultra dope Wall Movement Tech. Be respawn: Be ultra allergic to flat walls and make them all have ledges and ridges and bumps so you get constantly interrupted when doing all the dope Wall Movement Tech. This has literally been a problem since Titanfall. You can have visual interest geometry but please for the love of god disable the collision and/or clip them.

Your sprint setting might make you slower. I'm not joking...🤷‍♂️ You get full sprint velocity on Frame 1 after finishing a Mantle....but only on toggle sprint. On Hold sprint u have to accelerate back to sprint speed. This even applies to auto sprint, which is supposed to ignore the toogle/hold setting lol. This directly effects other movement tech like Superglides or how you get to slidejump after mantling. So hold to sprint is objectively worse than toggle sprint. And if you use auto sprint make sure sprint control is set to "press"
