Spatial Wallpapers are here! I just got my first hands-on experience with the new Spatial Panoramas and Custom Environments features, and it's incredible how immersive these memories feel when they surround you with real depth. With just a few taps, you can save them to a new folder in...

Spatial videos are just one way in which you can relive your memories in #3D I tried out Wist: Immersive Memories which doesn't require a #VisionPro to capture your memory and yet it allows you to experience it either on #mobile, #Quest or #AVP afterward.

Experience history in a whole new way with Apple Vision Pro. GeoWhenWhere is a spatial quiz that lets you wander through immersive 3D Gaussian splat scenes, then test yourself by pinpointing where they belong on the map and when they fit on the timeline.

Most Powerful Spatial AI for 3D Segmentation in #GaussianSplatting Major upgrade to our #SpatialAI! By defining just a few camera views, you can now segment extremely complex 3D objects with intricate geometries, including construction beams, industrial machinery, and beyond. ✅ No #3DGS retraining is required. Our spatial AI works seamlessly with any existing splats, enabling fast, on-the-fly 3D segmentation in photorealistic environments.

I turned some 19 physics concepts into diagrams you can play around with! They're imagined in a 2.5D format and visualised in a spatial format which helps you interact with them using custom controls. NGL I kind of was swept in a rabbithole working on this! Also, say hi to the pet in the lab? 🧶Try here :

With Insta360's Spatial Capture officially released in the US today, we can finally announce our partnership with Insta360. Yes — Insta360’s Spatial Capture feature is powered by KIRI Engine. By combining 360° cameras with KIRI Engine’s 3D Gaussian Splatting technology, we’re making it dramatically easier to capture large real-world environments and turn them into immersive 3D spaces. One of the biggest breakthroughs here is the capture workflow. Compared with existing 360° Gaussian Splatting workflows, Spatial Capture is dramatically simpler We believe 360 cameras can become one of the most natural ways to capture the world in 3D — and this collaboration is a big step toward making that happen.

visionOS 26 quietly introduced a glimpse into the future of how we’ll browse the web: a spatial Reader. Safari can now automatically transform a website’s content into a spatial experience using Spatial Scenes — allowing you to literally look into the rooms of the apartment you’re about to book for your next holiday. It does this by beautifully blending the content with your surroundings and softly tinting your room with the website’s color palette. It's just not possible to capture. I also love that Apple Intelligence lives in a floating window beside the content, ready to summarize the page for you. I can’t wait to see how this evolves into what we’ll one day call the Spatial Web.

With visionOS 27, websites can take you into custom environments in Safari. So of course I had to make one. I recreated the Spatial Insider Studio, where I’ve filmed hundreds of Apple Vision Pro videos. Check it out at the link below.

It was a lovely year. Implemented all planned features for BoxelXR and started developing a version for VisionOS with the hand-tracking first approach. Prototyped a ton of spatial experiences. Gave a few talks about Spatial Design and, most importantly, met many great and inspiring folks. Thank you all ❤️ Happy New Year 🥳

Spatial now ships with a built-in MCP server, so you can use whole boards as context for Claude or Codex. As an example, you can let Claude analyze your visuals, reverse engineer a style prompt, and then save that prompt back as a new note.

Before AI can understand the physical world, it needs data about the physical world. Not just images. Spatial environments. Real streets, buildings, parks, stores, museums, and public spaces captured in 3D. OVER has already reconstructed 290,000+ real-world 3D scenes, creating a growing dataset for the next generation of spatial and embodied AI. And this is exactly the kind of real-world spatial data AI companies are looking for. We're already in conversations with multiple AI and Robotics companies exploring how OVER's dataset can support the development and training of models that need to understand the physical world. The next AI race will be about real-world data.

Flight Sight on Vision Pro is a helicopter training app with interactive models, immersive video, and real coaching. You are in the cockpit, hearing the instructor beside you, and looking out over SoCal as you learn. The future of education is spatial and it’s taking off.

I recently released and here is what’s coming next. The goal is all farm data in one place where you can actually do things with it. Spatial then can use that to make creating zones, vrt and prescriptions as easy as just asking.

New research with Tsinghua University: Spatial-TTT. A framework for streaming visual-based spatial intelligence with test-time training (TTT). Spatial-TTT adapts fast weights to capture and organize spatial evidence from long video streams, enabling models to build structured 3D spatial memory over time. Highlights: 🔹Efficient streaming memory. Fast weights act as compact spatial memory with sublinear memory growth over 7000+ frames and more than 40% lower compute. 🔹Spatial-predictive mechanism. TTT layers with 3D spatiotemporal convolution capture geometric correspondence and temporal continuity. 🔹SOTA results on long-horizon video spatial understanding (VSI-Bench). The paper ranked #1 on Hugging Face Daily Papers on March 13. Project page: GitHub: Paper: Model & Data:
