Speaker 1: Mark my words, I think Morgan Rogers will perform very well, especially playing alongside Cole Palmer, whom he has played with before. Speaker 3: Rogers? Speaker 1: Yes. Rogers and Palmer playing behind the striker could be amazing. Speaker 2: I understand that. If Chelsea play with...

Trans Rights Debate Gets HEATED When a Cancer Treatment Hypothetical Exposes a Major Contradiction Speaker 1: Do you think conversion therapy should be legal for gay kids? Should parents be allowed to put their children through it? Speaker 2: If that’s considered a form of care, that’s a decision between the child and their doctor. It’s not my decision to make. I care about bodily autonomy. Speaker 1: Most Democrats think it should be illegal. Speaker 2: I’m not speaking for most Democrats. Speaker 3: Then do you support fundamentalist Christian parents refusing cancer treatment for their children because it’s between them and their doctor? Speaker 2: That’s a far-off example. You’re derailing the conversation. Speaker 3: It’s a thought experiment. I’m testing the principle you’re using. If parents have the right to choose any treatment for their child, do they also have the right to refuse treatment? Speaker 2: I’m not going to engage with a fictional scenario about kids and cancer. Speaker 3: But this actually happens. There are religious parents who refuse medical treatment for their children. Speaker 2: Then give me some stats and a source. Speaker 3: I don’t have the stats. Speaker 2: Exactly. So I’ll move on. You and I may disagree on policy, but I believe people’s rights shouldn’t depend on whether others think their identity is valid. Trans people need government protection, especially because they’re among the most vulnerable groups. Speaker 3: There are already protections for employment discrimination. What about trans women playing in women’s sports? Is that a civil right? Speaker 2: Yes. I think girls should be able to play whatever sport they want. I’m an athlete, and my sport has never been challenged by a trans person. I think focusing on less than 1% of the population in sports is a non-issue. If we want to talk about real problems, let’s talk about healthcare access. Speaker 3: I’m asking about your knowledge of the topic, not your personal experience.

🚨Jamie Carragher warns Arsenal and Man City: “Chelsea have everything to win the Premier League!” Jamie Carragher: I’m going to say something that I know will upset a lot of people, but I genuinely believe Chelsea can win the Premier League this season. Everyone keeps talking about Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool, but people are seriously overlooking Chelsea. Look at the squad. You have Cole Palmer, you have Morgan Rogers, you have quality all over the pitch, and now they have Xabi Alonso in charge. That is a very dangerous combination. Chelsea don't look like a team that is missing one or two pieces. They look like a team that has almost everything required to compete for the title. And Alonso is a huge part of that. He knows how to build a winning team. He knows how to manage big personalities, organise a side and make players believe. So why are we acting as if Chelsea are outsiders? I'll tell you what I think: people are too obsessed with Arsenal and Manchester City to notice what Chelsea are building. If Palmer stays fit, Rogers adapts quickly and Alonso gets this squad playing the way he wants, Chelsea could surprise everyone. In fact, I'm going further. I don't just think Chelsea will compete for the Premier League. I think Chelsea can actually WIN it. And when that happens, people will suddenly pretend they saw it coming. But I'm telling you now: Chelsea should not be underestimated. They could be the team nobody wants to face this season.

TalkSPORT on Morgan Rogers to Chelsea and Chelsea's transfer plans Speaker 1: "We're going straight back to Liverpool. William is a Chelsea fan. I've got a feeling you want to back Rodgers." William: "Mate, it's a brilliant signing. I think a lot of people will be surprised. Forget all the talk because he had a bad season. There were injuries, he had a tight injury, managers were under pressure and things kept changing. "I think working under Xabi Alonso every week will allow him to grow. I'm not saying it's guaranteed he'll start every game, but there's more competition elsewhere. At Chelsea, I think he'll still play from the left, but he'll have a much freer role under Xabi Alonso and become more of the main man. "I think he'll flourish in a less defensive, rigid system. Alonso likes free-flowing football. Only time will tell, but I think playing for Chelsea will benefit Morgan Rogers more." He added: > "Chelsea have a really good chance of finishing in the top four minimum next season. They started this season well but lacked experience. They're going to be a problem next season." The panel also discussed Chelsea's transfer plans, saying: Morgan Rogers is through the door. An approach has been made for Maxence Lacroix, following his impressive performances for Crystal Palace. Chelsea are also considering a move for John Stones on a free transfer, although Arsenal and Bayern Munich are also interested. On John Stones, the panel said Chelsea's young squad needs experience and leadership: "Even if he only plays 20-25 games, he'd be worth it. He brings professionalism, a winning mentality and the experience Chelsea need." The discussion ended by comparing Chelsea's spending with Arsenal's, claiming Arsenal were only willing to pay around £100 million for Morgan Rogers well below Chelsea's fee and Aston Villa's valuation and suggesting Arsenal may have missed out by not matching the asking price.

Interviewer: “Have you had the chance to speak to Reece James and learn more about Chelsea and what it means to be a Chelsea player?” Morgan Rogers: “Yeah, I spoke to Reece about it. Obviously, he’s the club captain and has been part of Chelsea for a long time. “He explained what the club is about. I wanted to get a feel for the place, so I asked him questions to make sure I was making the right decision. “The moment he started speaking about the club, the group, his conversations with the manager and what Chelsea want to achieve moving forward, I became even more excited about joining. “Those conversations are important, especially when they’re with the club captain someone I’ve known before, who has been here for so long and achieved so much. “I knew he would give me his honest opinion, so he was the perfect person to speak to.” Interviewer: “Did any of the players give you advice?” Morgan Rogers: “They told me to be myself because that’s the most important thing. “If a club wants to sign you, it’s because they want you to be yourself, not somebody else. It’s about showing my qualities, learning how my new teammates play and allowing them to understand my game as well. “I’m looking forward to doing that quickly and integrating with the team as soon as possible.” Interviewer: “Lastly, do you have a message for the Chelsea fans?” Morgan Rogers: “I can’t wait to see you all at Stamford Bridge. I’m going to give everything I have and hopefully help the club achieve something special with this project moving forward. “I just can’t wait to get started.” Interviewer: “Amazing. Best of luck.” Morgan Rogers: “Thank you. I appreciate it.” #NG67

🚨🎙️MIKEL ARTETA ON HOW HE’S GOING TO STOP “JP MORGAN” ON SUNDAY: 🎙️ Journalist: “Mikel, Chelsea’s front three of João Pedro, Cole Palmer and Morgan Rogers have been nicknamed ‘JP Morgan’. How are you planning to stop them on Sunday?” 🧠 Mikel Arteta: “We know the quality they have. It’s an incredibly talented front three. Palmer, João Pedro and Morgan Rogers can hurt you in different ways, so we cannot focus on just one player.” 🎙️ Journalist: “Is stopping JP Morgan mainly the responsibility of your defensive line?” 🧠 Mikel Arteta: “No, absolutely not. It has to be a team responsibility. If we leave our defensive line alone against those three, we are going to have problems. We have to defend from the front and make sure they don’t receive the ball in dangerous areas.” 🎙️ Journalist: “Palmer can create, João Pedro can drop deep and Morgan Rogers can carry the ball. How do you deal with all three at once?” 🧠 Mikel Arteta: “That is the challenge. You cannot give Palmer time because he will punish you. You cannot allow João Pedro to turn between the lines, and you cannot allow Morgan to run at you with space. We have to control all three.” 🎙️ Journalist: “Would you say JP Morgan is the biggest threat Chelsea have?” 🧠 Mikel Arteta: “They are certainly a huge threat, but Chelsea have quality throughout the team. We respect them, but we are not going into the game afraid. We have a plan to make the game difficult for them.” 🎙️ Journalist: “So how confident are you that Arsenal can stop JP Morgan?” 🧠 Mikel Arteta: “I love the players that we have and I trust them completely. We have to be aggressive, disciplined and together. If we do that, we have a very good chance.” 🎙️ Journalist: “So, no banking for JP Morgan at the Emirates on Sunday?” 🧠 Mikel Arteta: “That is the objective. We want to make sure JP Morgan leaves the Emirates without making a single deposit.” 😂💀

🚨 Arsenal legend Martin Keown on Arsenal signing Bruno Guimarães and Christos Tzolis instead of Morgan Rogers or Vinícius Júnior: 🎙️ Reporter: “Martin, Arsenal have signed Bruno Guimarães and Christos Tzolis, but many fans were hoping the club would land Morgan Rogers or even Vinícius Júnior. Do you think Arsenal missed out?” 🗣️ Martin Keown: “No, I don’t think so. Morgan Rogers and Vinícius Júnior are outstanding players, but you don’t build great teams by chasing every superstar on the market. You build them by bringing in players who suit the manager’s ideas, and I think Bruno Guimarães and Christos Tzolis do exactly that. “I spoke to Christos after he completed the move, and one thing he told me really stood out. He said, ‘Martin, I had other opportunities, but once I spoke with Mikel Arteta, I knew Arsenal was where I wanted to be. I believe in his vision, I believe in the football he wants us to play, and I believe this club is ready to achieve something special.’ That’s exactly the mentality you want from a player joining Arsenal. “People will always compare transfer windows, but football isn’t about who wins the headlines in the summer. It’s about who builds the best team by the end of the season. If Bruno Guimarães and Christos Tzolis perform the way Mikel Arteta believes they can, nobody will be talking about the players Arsenal didn’t sign.”

JACK SMITH SPIED ON PRO-TRUMP CONGRESSMEN, INCLUDING THE SPEAKER CONGRESSMAN GILL: How many days after Kevin McCarthy was sworn in as Speaker did you subpoena his records? JACK SMITH: I don't recall, but those two things had nothing to do with one another. GILL: It was 16 days after becoming the highest ranking Republican in the House of Representatives, you subpoenaed his toll records. Do you agree that that might reasonably be considered a violation of the Speech or Debate Clause? SMITH: I do not, and I want to be clear that the toll records.... GILL: You were collecting months worth of phone data on the Republican Speaker of the House, the leader of the opposition, right after he got sworn in as Speaker, all around the time of a major vote. That sounds like a flagrant violation of the Speech or Debate Clause to me, and I think most people agree with me. And Speaker McCarthy had no recourse, did he? Because you issued a non-disclosure order ensuring that neither he nor any of the American people knew about these subpoenas. Is that right? SMITH: The toll record, the non-content toll record subpoenas, we did secure non-disclosure orders for those subpoenas. GILL: You did, and let me ask you, Mr. Smith, at the time you secured those non-disclosure orders, was Speaker McCarthy a flight risk? SMITH: The non-disclosure order was based on concerns about... GILL: Was Speaker McCarthy a flight risk? SMITH: He was not. GILL: He was not. Then why did your non-disclosure order refer to him as a flight risk? It says right here, the court finds reasonable grounds to believe that such disclosure will result in flight from prosecution. SMITH: Sir, when securing a non-disclosure order, the risks don't have to be associated... GILL: You think that the Speaker of the House is a flight risk? GILL: You think the Speaker of the House is a flight risk? Do you think he's going to hop on a plane and leave the country? SMITH: No, what I was trying to explain is, with respect to a non-disclosure order, the risks aren't necessarily associated with the subscriber to the phone. The risks to the investigation. GILL: Okay, I think that you were using, this is clearly in reference to Speaker McCarthy, and you were using clearly false information to secure a non-disclosure order to hide from Speaker McCarthy and from the American people the fact that you were spying on his toll records.
