Don’t be scammed.!!!! What the ndc has passed today is not the LGBT Bill that was before the house. The bill as passed in 2024 and as relaid before the house, has now been mutilated by the ndc. About 31 of the old clauses have been deleted today. What has been passed now is an empty piece of legislation under the old name. It is not the same bill. Yet they are going around telling people it’s the same old bill that they promised to sign. Such a lie!!!!! When we say this ndc govt is a scam it is a matter of fact.

THE NEXT PROCESS "What will happen is the Bill was presented today and we will then allow the AG to do some legal scrubbing and then the Speaker. The Constitution says all our bills basically, we send them to the Speaker who then takes it for gazetting. If it is an ordinary bill it's 21 days before we do the first reading in Parliament. For the Constitutional bill, the Constitution says once you gazette it you wait for 90 days before you introduce it in Parliament. So once the Speaker has sent it for gazetting and it's in the public domain, that period we will now use it to have our debates to call upon anyone you want to interview. Parliament will call for public consultations and once all that is done the relevant Parliamentary committees will now compile their reports. And then we introduce the Bill to Parliament." Hon. Now it moves to the House, and I urge Speaker Johnson to bring it to the floor immediately. There is no question that if the Senate bill is put to a vote in the House of Representatives, it would pass. So I call on the Speaker to let the full House speak its mind and not allow a minority of the most extreme voices in the House to block this bill from even being voted on." Shouldn't the House vote? Isn't that what Democracy is about?
