Rich kids and poor kids now grow up in separate Americas. If you go back to 1960, 95% of children in the U.S. were raised by two married parents, regardless of social class—rich kids and poor kids alike. Fast forward to 2005, and for upper and upper-middle-class families, that number dropped only slightly, from 95% to about 85%. So in those households, the vast majority of kids were still raised by two married parents. For working-class and poor families, it was a different story. In 1960, 95% of kids had two married parents. By 2005, that had plummeted to around 30%. And that’s exactly what I saw growing up. I was a kid in 2005, and in the neighborhoods around me, intact families were rare. I had five close friends. None of us were raised by two married parents. I was in foster homes. Oscar Danilo Lima was cited after speeding down Glendale Street, hitting a speed bump at such a rate that his car went airborne and crashed into three homes in a residential neighborhood. Several houses were damaged power knocked out and residents displaced. Police say Lima claimed his brakes didn’t work, but surveillance video showed he was driving at an “insane” speed. Everett Police say the driver was cited for negligent operation / operating to endanger after going airborne over a speed bump, getting ejected, and crashing into multiple homes… and that’s it? Another "everyday" horror bodycam released today. ​In Westminster police pulled over a reckless driver this week, only for him to casually mention his kids were in the trunk while he was being cuffed. ​Officers opened the trunk in freezing weather to find three young children huddled together next to bottles of alcohol. ​ He reportedly put them in the trunk because the car was too full of "stuff" to fit them in the seats. ​The father is behind bars for DUI and child abuse. The kids were rescued by CPS and are now safe with family.

Here is a clip at 2% speed. He holds the phone perfectly steady. There is nothing moving behind him, or in front of him to cause this kind of rapid image changing. By the way, take note of where he is pointing his phone. It is not at Charlie. It is somewhere into the crowd, which was also pretty stationary, especially at this 2% speed. These must have been some images running on the screen. But I do not know what that could have been. They would be undiscernible at normal speed.
