WATCH: World News Tonight continues their jihad against Elon Musk and Tesla- consistently the only vehicle brand cited by name in their traffic accident coverage. DAVID MUIR: Tonight, a frightening scene in Orange County, California. An out-of-control Tesla crashing through a wall and right into multiple homes. Here's Trevor Ault. TREVOR AULT: Tonight, a trail of destruction in a Southern California neighborhood after police say an out-of-control Tesla crashed through a brick retaining wall and into homes. BYSTANDER: He had to be going at least- in a Tesla, you know, they're quick. Must have been going 100 miles an hour. AULT: Investigators say the 22-year-old driver suffered a medical emergency and lost control, the car careening some 20 feet down that embankment, slamming into multiple homes and crashing through this garage door. This is what it looked like from the inside, debris shattering windows. And on one home there were tire marks spotted ten feet up. It happened just after midnight in Orange County, California, near Los Angeles. Authorities say first responders had to pull the driver from the car, but he was not seriously hurt from the crash. And while many people were in the homes at the time, none of them were injured. David, it's not clear what that medical emergency was, but investigators say they don't believe the driver was impaired, and this was not the result of Tesla's autopilot mode. The investigation is ongoing. David. MUIR: Trevor Ault in Los Angeles. Trevor, thanks.

A #Lamborghini allegedly being driven at a high speed triggered chaos on a busy stretch in #Kanpur after it rammed into a parked motorcycle and an auto rickshaw at Gwal Toli police station area, leaving at least one pedestrian injured and several vehicles damaged on Sunday. Details shared by Debasis Nanda I have been driving for years and have covered around 1.5 lakh kilometres combined my swift & Kushaq, but this was by far the worst accident I have experienced. Here's what happened. I was driving from Hoskote to my office in Mahadevapura, Bangalore. Just before the Hoskote toll, there is a speed breaker right after the flyover ends. I was driving at a reasonable speed and started slowing down as I approached the speed breaker. I t was raining a bit that day. I checked my rear-view mirror while braking and noticed a vehicle coming at high speed. It looked like the driver had lost control. I barely had a second to react. I thought of accelerating to avoid the impact, but there was a Tata Altroz right in front of me, so I had no room to move. Within moments, a Tata Intra crashed into the rear of my Kushaq with tremendous force, pushing my car into the Altroz ahead. Thankfully, I escaped without any injuries. This incident really proved the solid build quality of the Kushaq. I immediately stopped the driver of the Intra. He admitted that he wasn't paying attention and said that even after applying the brakes, the vehicle didn't stop in time. However, after reviewing the dashcam footage, it was clear that he had enough distance to stop if he had reacted earlier. The Hoskote traffic police arrived after noticing the traffic jam. I showed them the dashcam footage, and they escorted us to the nearby traffic police station. I asked the Tata driver to call the vehicle owner, and after some discussion, they agreed to compensate me directly instead of relying only on the insurance claim. The traffic police were extremely helpful throughout the process. My Skoda service advisor initially estimated the repair cost to be around ₹1 lakh. Based on that, I asked them to pay at least ₹30,000. They initially offered ₹20,000, and we finally settled at ₹25,000. However, after handing over the car to the Skoda body shop, the final repair estimate has gone up to around ₹1.5 lakh. On top of that, I still have to bear 10% of the repair cost as per my insurance policy. #driveresponsibly
