Maher epitomizes the LIBERAL mindset. There are naked drug addicts shitting in the streets, but he thinks solar panels are a priority! 🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️

This an absolute masterclass by Pratt. Maher tries to patronize him by saying “what you can’t walk and chew gum at the same time as mayor”. And Pratt professionally said “I don’t give an F about your solar panels. I need to get homeless drug addicts away from mothers and children first”. Boom!

Epic clip reflecting privilege. Drug addicts and homelessness abounds but, "My solar panels!"

“Let’s get rid of the poop and the drug addicts and the crime and danger, then we’ll worry about your solar panels.“ Bill Maher exposing the left liberal mentality with Spencer Pratt’s organic response. Well done, Spencer Pratt!

@tysonsmith SPIT THAT GUM OUT!!! Possibly the best answer I’ve ever heard a candidate give a schmuck interviewer

Spencer is getting better and better. I think he handled that well and answered the question. Rates in January in Burbank went up 5x 🤦🏻‍♂️. I still agree. Solar can wait

@otto_hope If you can’t provide basic things to your citizens, you are a failure. Why would someone be worried about solar panels? That’s something a first world, perfectly running, adequately funded society can concern itself with. When L.A. gets there, maybe talk about solar panels, Bill.

It’s really about Maslow‘s hierarchy of needs The basic needs are not being mad so there’s no point talking about solar panels

“I want to figure out your regular electricity, you pay so much for regular electricity maybe you don’t even need a solar panel if I figure that out.” That line stopped Bill Maher in his tracks. Liberals never want to address or even consider the root cause of issues.

Hey @billmaher it’s Maslow’s hierarchy of needs. Liberals flip the pyramid on its head and then wonder why people are voting Pratt.

I think many are missing the point Bill was making, and it pains me to defend him (looking at the skies for pigs suddenly flying), but I think he was complaining about the many layers of regulations that make any kind of home improvement nearly impossible, whether getting “woke solar” or as simple just getting a new roof installed. The permitting process in LA or even the whole state of CA is next level impossible to get through. That’s a problem, just like homelessness. But priorities. Makes sense to me! Go Spencer Pratt!!

Maher's complaining about his first-world problems, whereas Pratt is focused on getting LA out of the third world.

A masterclass on answering a libtard question. Yo Bill, we don't care about your dumb solar panels. We want basics! 1. encampments & zombie addicts gone 2. Stop animal abuse/shelter killing 3. Fund fire & police

This is why Rudy Giuliani a Republican got elected mayor of NYC back in the 90s despite an overwhelming majority of Dem voters there - they got tired of Democratic neglect of the important, basic functions of city gov't like keeping the streets safe.

All the best leaders know how to delegate. That was a great response to Maher. Pratt is sticking the elephant in the room and not allowing Maher to derail with a "problem" that has not caused the decay of a major city.

I had no idea who @spencerpratt was other than a former reality star with a bad reputation. Now I admire him. He speaks plainly, focuses on key issues important to voters and doesn’t have tolerance for bullshit. Exactly who I would want running my town.

Spencer Pratt drags Bill Maher out of his liberal bubble and brought him back down to earth. Maher was annoyed that Pratt didn’t know the specifics about taxes on solar powered energy, but Pratt humbled him with the REAL problems Angelenos care about. MAHER: “This is a state that is constantly overthinking everything, and over regulating everything.” “Trust me, I know. I did whole bits about how it took me three years to get the solar turned on.” “Solar! Something they want you to have!” PRATT: “But now they’re taxing you, I think, for having it.” MAHER: “They are?” PRATT: “I think so.” MAHER: “What do you mean you think so?! You have to know!” PRATT: “I don’t need to know about solar, you know?” “I need to focus on making sure the moms are safe and the animals are not being abused. That’s my party.” MAHER: “I know. but if you’re the mayor...” PRATT: “Solar panels, that’s going to be somebody I’m hiring. That’s my deputy mayor who’s going to worry about the solar panels.” MAHER: “No, Spencer. I got bad news. If you’re the mayor, you are going to have to learn some of these issues more intricately.” PRATT: “Solar panels...we’re about three years from worrying about solar panels.” “We need to get all of the naked drug addicts off of the sidewalks and then I can worry about solar panels.” MAHER: “We can’t walk and chew gum at the same time?” PRATT: “With the state of LA right now, solar panels, you’re gonna spit that gum out.”
