Spent some time preparing Duet for iOS 26. Pretty happy with how this interaction turned out! In a shocking turn of events, I ended up using SwiftUI for the two map style buttons because, despite UIButton.Configuration being great, it’s got noting on SUI’s ButtonStyle API.

Q: what new thing did you realize while preparing for your solo song? 🐱: there isn’t a single moment to rest 🐱: because people are focused on every single moment, i think i ended up using much more energy 🐱: since the time spent pouring in focus gets longer, i need my members

Spent a fantastic two days at the Circuito de Navarra in Spain. Mostly dry and a great technical circuit. I was driving a McLaren 720s GT3 Evo with Garage59. It was great to be back with a team that I have a strong history with. I was rusty to start, it’s been a few years out of a GT3 but very happy with where we ended up after two days of testing. I had to hang up most of my engineering brain and focus on driving - and loved every second. More to follow 👀

✨ Working on the website for Onlight. All of this was done in Blender. I asked Astra to create two different scenes so I could transition between them. Really happy with how they turned out 😝

Some of my storyboards from the opening of The Wild Robot. I liked the idea of the first shot in the film (after the pull-out from her eye) being Roz in a fetal position for "The Robot Hatches." But the idea got lost as it went through the production pipeline. I ended up using some stock photography and videos for some of the water in this scene. I think because the environment was such a character for us in these opening scenes. The photography seemed to help me to sell the contrast between Roz and the wilderness.

REDISTRICTING: For the first time in American history, a court has overturned a congressional map between a primary and a general. Missouri's Supreme Court is throwing out the results of the state's primary and the millions of dollars candidates spent campaigning using the state's new maps. In just two months, the state must figure out how to hold a primary, nominate new candidates, and run campaigns.

in retrospect it’s kinda funny how this band got huge off of the singer being like “OoOoOoooo I’m such a fucked up guy! I do bad stuff!” and then everyone was genuinely STUNNED when it turned out he was a fucked up guy who did bad stuff

Model turntable of Tsunami design by Lē Yamamura for the Wings of fire Japanese release. These designs are a lot of fun to work with, still a bit rough in some places but I'm happy enough with how it turned out. Who should I make next?

Memory popped up on my phone. From 2017, from when I was over in vegas with Carl Frampton MBE in camp with him preparing for his rematch with Leo Santa Cruz . We used and based ourselves self in @porterhyperformance gym for the camp. Here is where i got to have 3 fantastic sparring sessions with ShowtimeShawn Porter . It was great sparring and great experience for a young hungry prospect to share the ring with a world champion to prepare me for my own fight on the undercard. Wow how time flies when you’re having fun. 🥊🥊

Drake Maye on Will Campbell: “The expectations of a first round pick, I think he’s dealt with so much this year. It’s going to be great for him in the future. He’s going to be a great player in this league, he already is a great player in this league… I love Will. I look forward to playing with him for a long time.” - CLNS Media Boston Sports Network

Since v14, FSD has this weird obsession with moving from the inner lane to the outer lane during a left turn. For me, it happens on every two-lane left turn. And it does it in a very jerky, dangerous way — even if it means cutting in front of another car, FSD will still insist on doing it. Is this because FSD is more afraid of hitting the curb at the corner than of getting rear-ended by someone else? This really feels like a serious bug to me. I’m not sure whether it’s because the model is overfitted to avoid curbs during turns, or because it was trained to always end up in the rightmost lane after a left turn. I honestly don’t know, but I really hope this gets fixed soon.

had a crazy idea today for the past two months i've been building a pretty massive app and truth be told, i often play catch-up on architecture, because features move so damn fast so today i asked claude (opus 5.5, high) "I have a weird task for you. I want you to look at the app and create, for lack of a better word, a canvas that I can zoom in and zoom out and move around to see how our architecture actually works." (full prompt in first comment) this came out pretty great and it truly visualized, with steps and connected graphs what everything does 10/10 would recommend

how based are you? it’s nice to see how more and more new apps are appearing inside the base app every day. it’s a great opportunity for users to get in early and earn rewards it’s also a big boost for the base ecosystem as a whole: active users get rewarded, the ecosystem grows, developers earn, users earn. a real win-win that’s what “base is for everyone” is all about “base me” is a fun app from the creator Fokki. you can spin the wheel and find out just how based you are. i got lucky and ended up being as based as jesse.base.eth you can join and try it yourself using the link below

Before recording with VA’s for Catching Up Episode 2, I created a test animatic with me doing all the voices to get an idea of how each scene would flow! This allowed us to get a feel for each scene, and some of my temp audio even ended up in the final cartoon! Try find ‘em!
