With a bit of UIKit Jiggery-Pokery™ you can display arbitrary views as the content of a segmented control’s segments. In this case, a _UIHostingView featuring SwiftUI Text with an animated numeric content transition. Although probably doable _with_, no private APIs used here!

scanning black, glossy, metallic surfaces is notoriously hard with scanners, so I spent days reverse engineering my scanner and building my own tooling so that it can punch WAY above its league. I think I succeeded. This level of quality will now be the default on for every mouse, and it takes me <30min per scan now!
