Here is the guy and the two ladies stopping traffic in the middle of the street. You can hear him yelling at the person in the white SUV. You can see the border patrol agents parked across the street in front of the place where they were going to arrest the criminal illegal alien and coming out of their cars. You can then see the two women go right towards the agent who was by his car and stand in front of him obstructing an active operation. It can't be seen in this video but we know from other videos that the guy went across the street to the area where the agents were. The two women and the guy all inserted themselves in an active operation. This is dangerous for officers and for the public. These officers have only a few minutes to get in there, execute the warrant, arrest the illegal alien (who may be armed since he is a criminal) and pull him out into their car. These people are going after these officers with loud whistles, blocking traffic, confronting them. The people out there applauding this behavior, saying that it is citizens' right to do that, or instigating it are putting civilians in danger.

It’s been exactly one year since we bought this highway frontage property for our business - 3.5 acres visible to 18k cars passing by daily. The land was totally undeveloped and it’s taken a serious amount of time, money, and headache to get to where it is now. Why buy land and build a building instead of renting a shop for the time being? I think about this often, as this journey hasn’t been easy dealing with the State, groundwater, expensive infrastructure and building delays. However, we wanted to cement ourselves in our community and build exactly what we want - from the layout to the landscaping, all done in the image of The Woolshire - to be here for generations to come. The outside of the building will be done this week. The slab will be poured next week, and then we can move our wool mill inside and start to run electric, HVAC, and then insulate and finish. Everything worthwhile takes hard work and determination. The Lord has blessed us with a beautiful land and building and we are really excited for the future. May His grace continue to pour upon us and may we honor Him with our work. Cheers 🥂

Today was wild. I was in central Bangkok when the worst earthquake in 30 years hit. I’d just wrapped a catch-up with Saimon, talking about GDC, Web3 gaming, AI etc. After brunch, he left, and I decided to stay behind at the café to get some work in. Ten minutes later, everything started spinning. I thought I was just feeling fatigued. But then the floor swayed. Hard. The waitress ran out and told everyone to evacuate. Outside, I saw a tower across the street literally twisting like Jenga. People started filming. I looked up and thought, are we seriously stopping here to record this? It felt surreal. Then people started running. So I ran too. I was in the busiest part of town, surrounded by glass buildings and traffic. No car. I jumped on a motorbike to get to my son, then switched to a car to head to my mum’s. What should’ve been a short trip took five hours. Worst traffic I’ve ever experienced. Trains were down. Underground shut. Bridges damaged. No clear info , just fake news flying everywhere. My phone was slightly over 10%, but I managed to preserve the last bit of battery to call, navigate, and make sure we got to my mum’s safely. Now that I’m home, I’m still processing it all. Life is strange. One moment you’re talking AI over coffee. The next, you’re running through a city that feels like one wrong move could change everything. I’m grateful we’re okay. But this shook me deeply. Really hope everyone is ok.

This really isn’t anybody’s business, but I like being transparent. I’ve only shared a few of my payouts from 2024 not because I plan to make it a routine, but just to show what the revenue actually looks like, excluding subscriptions (the money people pay directly to access my content). And before anyone starts screaming “edited,” I screen-recorded it to prove it’s real. People do all sorts of editing on this app, so better to just show everything clearly. Sometimes you just want to motivate one person out there. But don’t expect me to keep posting this… it’s stress, lol. Do I feel like I should be earning more based on the work I put in and the impressions I get? Definitely. But 9ja IP is honestly bad luck we know this. And remember it’s not impressions that pay, it’s verified engagements. Out of 122k followers, only about 7k are verified. It used to be less until I started posting Web3 stuff. Is the pay fair? Not really. But it is what it is. Even with that, X is still my main platform because no other app has paid me more than this yet. Are smaller pages earning more than mine? YES. Verified engagements matter more than impressions. Am I bothered? Nope. As long as my own money enters, that’s my focus. Also the payout isn’t fixed price. You can see it in the screenshot some weeks are good, and some weeks drop. I’ll keep building, creating, growing, connecting, and leveling up. X pays people who put in the work. Does this mean you should come to my DMs to bill me? Absolutely not. I won’t answer. I’m working this hard because I need money too. I have bills to sort always that’s why I put in work. Some people contribute to the Bored Ape Yacht Club 🍌 in one lane. Apewhale 🍌 contributes in many. The Sabotaging Practice of Over Supply and Sameness in the NFT Space. The current zeitgeist of the NFT space is that the same artists are doing the same kind of work five times a year, with project after project leaving a trail of disappointment and discontent among collectors and all of us watching in disbelief as huge resources are extracted from the space over work that feels like it could be left as an "artist study." I understand that you can do what you want with your money as collectors, but we are killing the whole space with this incestuous practice. No artist is that prolific to be able to do 5 collections of 100+ pieces each every year and actually deliver innovation and some kind of creative evolution. Of course, they can pretend play that the work has something new, but there is no precedent nor proof that that has ever happened in the speed that it happens in the NFT space. Again, people are free to through away their resources on whatever they want but with this way of doing things, we more and more are going to start seeing the consequences. Oh! There are consequences? Yes. Maybe unintended, but there are. Let's see. Let's start with the loss of belief in the NFT space as somewhere where emerging artists can come and find support for their experiments. Why even bother to bring experiments, innovation, and new ways to think of art on the blockchain if the same people have all the collectors hypnotized with their magical flutes? Why even try to come to a space where taking risks and challenging the status quo (the mission of art!!!) is overlooked? This makes the NFT space a social club and not a space for art. I guess it is fine, but IMO it is a recipe for disaster. New collectors stay away because the art will slowly but surely become stale and un-challenging. Why even bother to come and see what is happening here if you can't, as a collector, see new weird and up-and-coming artists? The amount of noise emitted by the same artists doing the same art over and over, drowns out any new voices. Again. A recipe for disaster. The NFT space is becoming a space of disappointment and doubt. We think that collections going to zero one after the other, over and over, is not damaging? I feel we are kidding ourselves. Disappointment piles up, and again, the people who will hurt are the emerging artists, the new blood, the ones who are willing to risk the most and, in return, put fire in this cold space of sameness. I love this space—don't get me wrong—it has changed my life, and I believe it has a ton of potential, but things need to change for it to become a beacon of light in art. But we need to support new voices. We need to support new ideas. The challenge is huge. I hope to contribute all I can to this change. I hope more and more see how exciting it is to go out and try to discover what else is out there and move this space forward.
