A new branch office of the Motor Traffic Department was opened at the BIA Arrivals Terminal by Minister of Transport, Highways and Civil Aviation Bimal Ratnayake. The initiative allows visitors to drive legally in Sri Lanka for the duration of their visa, using their foreign driving licence as the basis for eligibility.
