Staking is coming, but it isn't final yet. From Quant's Luke Riley in the dev community: stake QNT against your own public nodes. Rewards would depend on stake, requests served and node quality, with diminishing returns. No slashing planned. Formula: not published yet.

It's openly permissioned: a two-layer firewall, users only see their own transactions, and Quant runs the sequencer and the private data chain. Testnet opened Oct 2025. Mainnet launched 2 Jun 2026, in private access. On testnet, QNT is the gas.

Settlement: Fusion posts its state root to every connected chain, so any of them can verify it. It's optimistic, not ZK, so costs don't grow with each chain. Withdrawals take five steps, including a dispute window: about 3.5 days on testnet.

Deposit on your home chain: the contract there locks your tokens, and Fusion mints the same amount. The same asset on several chains can map to one token on Fusion (Quant's example: uUSDC), withdrawable to any chain you're allowed on. The collateral stays locked on each chain.

Under the hood: an OP Stack fork, run as four services: execution, consensus, data availability and dispute resolution. Transaction data goes to a private Besu chain. State roots go to every connected chain. And each Fusion block takes its input from one chain, in rotation.

The same digital dollar lives on many blockchains, in pools that can't see each other. Quant Fusion derives one state from many chains at once. Quant calls it Layer 2.5. I went through the docs and the testnet and animated how it works 🧵👇 $QNT

Lock them up until 2033, reinvest rewards into QNT. Walk away at $4,000-$12,000 a share

Brilliant, thank you Juan. Any guesses on rewards? Claude's best guess was 0–1.5% (bear) 3–5% (base) 8–15% (bull) APR?

Great work! Do you have any idea, if delegation of QNT will be possible, if I do not want to run my own nodes?

Staking $QNT yeahhhhh
