This is all I wanted from Squadrons

One of my favorites, and I still can't believe how great it looked as a GameCube launch title.

I ended up getting a PS2, but I'd be damn if I didn't say the indigo little cube didn't temp the crap out of me with that game. I remember my father being impressed with it. He was like: "It looks just like the movies, maybe we should get it.". Gamecube is not appreciated enough

The Rogue Squadron and Battle for Naboo games raised the space battle bar so high for me as a kid

The game looked absolutely amazing for its time

I asked for a GameCube for this specifically. And this is kinda what I wanted from Squadrons. 🙌

Full 60 FPS. It also had the N-1 and unlike the Falcon in the first game, this one had all EIGHT barrels available to the player. If you fired a fully charged shot, it fired eight shots that would vaporize almost anything that wasn't a capship.

If only there was a solid emulator for it

They should add this to Nintendo Switch Online, it was soooo good.

La GameCube en avait sous le capot. Malheureusement, cette génération a été trop dominée par la ps2 ( de manière un peu incompréhensible) et la GameCube et la Dreamcast en ont fait les frais.
