started watching better things a few weeks ago (mainly for mikey madison) & just finished s1 tonight & ended up sobbing over a beautifully subtle storyline for a genderqueer kid i had no idea was even coming??? pamela adlon & this show have my whole heart

watching this with my mom undoubtedly makes it hit even harder though (and i apologize to her for how awful i was as a teenager every episode)
