I read the manga. The schtick where mc gets shocked and negatively self conscious by her easily misunderstood stepsisters and stepmom is basically a running gag (it ain’t going away ever) it’s an acquired taste sense of humor to be sure but it’s ok🤷‍♂️

Oh this looks like it would be fun to binge as i putter around the house

Finally, the newest promise for this anime season, where the punchlife doesn't lose it's charm, even in the manga.

The reason why the main girl is so surprised by the good treatment of her step mother and half sisters. Is because Japan has a long history of treating children with only one parent and especially children born out wedlock like absolute dog shit.

I loved every second. It was so goddamn wholesome I was laughing and crying the whole time.

I'll watch it either way but I do kinda hope they find a different gag
