I truly have no idea why Adam Foote puts so much trust in Evander Kane. Fails the zone entry twice, and when the puck is at the blue line, he of course is waiting down low "just in case". Planet Ice rides again.

Here’s my confusion on this not being called a penalty. If the offensive team has the puck on the blue line, it’s technically onside. So if the defensive team has the puck on the blue line, wouldn’t it still technically be in the D-zone?

A supposed 3rd pair guy in the AHL that is actually in the NHL laying his body on the line on the penalty blocking potential goals. This is why the #Canucks value him, for what he does on the PK. As a depth guy who's imperfect, that is totally okay.

The MLBPA needs to have this rule changed. This pitch is not IN the strike zone. Sure, it’s catching the zone by a millimeter but it’s like saying a football catch is made when any part of the foot is in the end zone.

You know this modern #Carrie movie was surprisingly good and well-directed. But ugh do I hate when a small line tweak would’ve made a moment land more in subtext. Friend: “Don’t hurt me.” Carrie: “Why not? I’ve been hurt my whole life.” Ugh. Small tweak would make her less on the nose and woe-is-me, and land themes better. “Why not? It’s just kids being kids.” Writers. Subtext in dialogue often just needs a tweak to hide the on-the-nose cliche.

This umpire made an unpopular call, but is it the correct call? Man on first and the batter hits a line drive to the shortstop- a line drive. The shortstop drops the ball, tags second and throws to first for the double play. The umpire called an infield fly rule, called the batter out and sent the runner back to first. He said the shortstop intentionally dropped the ball, thus he instituted the infield fly rule. I’ve never seen that before when it is not a pop up.
