That looks like St. Elmo’s fire in a simulator

many years ago when i started to fly turboprop, i suffered this phenomenon but twice as bad in a mitsubishi MU2 Solitaire. I can never forget it. It was the first time I had experienced this and I was quite nervous. It was a fairly tense flight even knowing the phenomenon 😶😶

I have seen this phenomena many times in my career. It is most apparent when flying through areas of high atmospheric particulates like near dust storms or volcanic ash clouds

St Elmo's. Very common around convective areas, usually an advance warning of potential lightning strikes!
