Emphasising the importance of the Know Your Customer (KYC) process, PM Modi urged people not to ignore or feel inconvenienced by messages from banks regarding KYC updates or re-KYC, as these measures are meant to safeguard their finances. At the same time, Hon’ble PM cautioned citizens against fake KYC calls and advised them to visit their bank branches or use only official banking apps for any such updates.
