I have been saying it for a while, and now I absolutely understand why: Everything Canada has been doing in response to the tariff threat has been to the benefit of China. Why? Because Mark Carney is serving Beijing‘s interests, which is why Beijing wants Mark Carney and the Liberals. Because China has infiltrated the Canadian government, and is effectively dictating domestic and foreign policy. While Carney serves his own foreign investment interests as well. Share this. So THIS is why Mark Carney’s trade deal collapsed. After months of “constructive” talks, “progress” and assurances from Ottawa, Carney finally tells Canadians what happened. He says the U.S. demanded: • Medium and heavy-duty trucks excluded from the auto deal. • Restrictions on Canada signing other trade deals. • Restrictions affecting Canadian language, culture and sovereignty. Carney says those last-minute demands killed the deal. Fair enough. But Carney was elected as the “master negotiator.” Canada was told his experience and connections were exactly what we needed to deal with Trump. Now there’s no deal. At some point, Canadians are allowed to judge the negotiator by the negotiation.
