You see whining about "clunky" old games because old games lack the player assists found in newgen games, which are literally designed for actual idiots on the assumption that the average player won't be able to learn how the game works for themselves. Almost every action game now has: >strong autotracking on attacks >tons of i-frames >no "checkmate" situations that are unrecoverable; endless mulligans so the player sees "you died/game over" as little as possible >no lives, timers, scoring, or any other hard constraints on the player; failure doesn't cost anything >multi-step actions triggered by single button presses like sliding/dashing to go faster, instant takedowns, etc; no need to combine multiple actions or learn any techniques like crouchjumping, bhopping, rocket/grenade jumping >"cinematic" boss fights where the core gameplay may be totally absent and the "fight" is relegated to QTEs >strong enemy leashing that keeps enemies in tiny areas, allowing you to whittle them down with no risk They are deliberately designing games to place as few expectations on the player as possible and when someone who has only experienced these new games is shown an old game without these "quality of life" features, they call it "clunky" because the game is designed to actually be played by the player.

There was a moment when the Dr looked at us and said we might have missed the window for the surgery “He’s in a coma now,” “Less than 10% chance of survival.” Time stood still for us but we still took that 10% chance. And a miracle happened ♥️ Surgery is done, and both bhai and bhabhi are safe and healing ..truly, the biggest blessing 🙏🏽 To every single one of you who reached out, prayed, messaged, or called,thank you from the depths of my heart ♥️ This journey has been long, heavy, and deeply personal. To witness what love and community can do it’s humbling. It’s healing. It’s real. From here on, we move into recovery with hope and gratitude! I’ll still be in Pune for the next 20-30 days, so our meet-up will have to wait just a bit longer. But I promise when we do meet, we’ll have a lot to celebrate! Just weeks ago I considered this to be a map of Superchargers. The foundation that made EV’s a going concern for the first time. But it’s not. These dots represent fully permitted and built power stations in an era where every AI player is trying to figure out how to get power for compute. This is the largest electrical power moat I’ve ever seen that can fully supply current and future charging needs while collecting and storing cheaper power during off-peak to supply an AI revolution. Elon doesn’t care who knows anymore. 2nd place is… crumbs. AWS was built from excess server space needed during peak demand. Now it’s bigger and more valuable than the core Amazon retail business. Tesla is about to drop a hardware smackdown right in the face of software engineers. AI prototypes are easy. Scaling is hard. If only Tesla had a factory pouring out millions of chips each year that are underutilized 95% of the time. Each with their own battery storage. Imagine that. Tesla could call them ‘cars’. And that power moat? It’s all fully upgradable. It’s primed to be tripled. Only a handful of Tesla charging stations currently have solar and/or Megapacks. For 14 years Tesla has permitted and built the gas stations of the future around the world. Everyone said it would fail. All of them were wrong. And now Tesla is in a process of creating a possible 10x value stamp on those stations that should have never been built. It makes you wonder, When a vehicle now leaves the Tesla factory; how do we even begin to calculate the economic production that it will generate during its lifetime? It’s a Robotaxi, energy storage, and a fully sealed/cooled compute processor. They may as well start shitting gold out of a tailpipe.

leeteuk gave some words about mental health, the summary.. he talked about how many times during the years, he cried, felt depressed, tired, and just felt helpless “think life is so hard that dying would be more comfortable” but things eventually will get better, it will take time and there will be lot of times where you will think it’s the end, but it’s not, you’re trying your best. endure as much as you can. If you lived your life expecting the society approval or praise you may feel disappointed. do it for yourself. there are times in your life when it feels too difficult, but when times passes you can look back and be proud of how you held well. he admitted that he was very pessimistic, frustrated and didn’t believe things would work but looking back now he thought “the only reason I came this far is because I did well” he said that everyone is going through different things, each has different experiences and issues to deal with. but he hopes that everything goes well for everyone~

This one hurts me deeply 🥺💔 I'm not sure where to start but Rachaad White 1️⃣ has been my main favorite player over the years ever since he got drafted by the Bucs. If you didn't know, I'm the biggest Rachaad White fan in the world. One day back in 2023, I was at Bucs Training Camp and I took a vid of Rachaad practicing and tagged him on X. This one hurts me deeply 🥺💔 I'm not sure where to start but Rachaad White 1️⃣ has been my main favorite player over the years ever since he got drafted by the Bucs. If you didn't know, I'm the biggest Rachaad White fan in the world. One day back in 2023, I was at Bucs Training Camp and I took a vid of Rachaad practicing and tagged him on X. Just finished Animal Kingdom (2010), I reckon it’s the best Australian film I’ve ever watched. I genuinely reckon this is the movie I would tell foreigners to watch if they want to understand the dark side of Australia. It has everything - disgusting corrupt lawyers, corrupt police, the security forces and state struggling to maintain “social cohesion” in the face of a seething violent underworld. So many incompetent idiots and so many people on the take. It’s so beautifully filmed too. So many stunning shots of gritty Australian suburbia, the kinds of streets I would drive down almost every single day. The streets, the old Australian cars, the dialogue, the cadence of the actors, it’s all just so vividly Australian. It’s amazing to see it on screen. It’s also amazing to witness how much the country has changed in the 15 years since the film was released. To be honest the Australian cityscapes on display in the film are almost unrecognisable today. If you wanted to remake the film in Melbourne today you would have to incorporate streets that look completely like Shenzhen both in terms of population and in terms of the actual urban built environment (skyscrapers, bubble tea shops, Chinese money transmitters, real estate shops). You would have to have vape shops and halal chicken shops and foreign owned convenience stores. The film is so overwhelmingly Anglo Australian that it feels like it could have been set in the 70s. Apart from just a few passing characters the film is almost completely Anglo Australian, specifically dealing with a criminal sub-section of the Anglo Australian underclass. The clash is between the official Anglo Australia - the state and the security forces - and the Anglo Australian underclass struggling against them. I feel like it would be hard to remake a film with these same themes today. It would be like pretending Irish mobsters and Italian gangsters still dominate American crime. Now so much of the violent crime is done by foreign dominated gangs. Even the premise of the film - a rogue paramilitary style section of the police (the Armed Robbery Squad) going wild and carrying out extrajudicial executions against violent criminals - is just bizarre today given the actual state of the criminal justice system in Australia. A significant number of armed robbers in Australia today would be migrant youths who get bail within 24 hours.

Watching and hearing about the stampede in Bangalore made me wonder where we are going ! This is not a national team winning the World Cup ! It’s a mere franchise called RCB which works on commercial lines and does not have a single Hyderabad player in it !? It’s not even a #Hyderabad based team ! The night round officers were totally taken by surprise at 12 in the midnight as hordes of youngsters and revellers descended on Tank bund ,NTR marg and Necklace road and behaved in an unruly manner, sample of which you can see in the videos below, quite alarmingly. Traffic got jammed in all directions . Seeing the situation and the hooliganism , extra forces were rushed and a lathi charge done to disperse the unruly crowd.From a police officer’s perspective, this unannounced celebrations on the streets by large gatherings are a big danger to public safety and may lead to exactly what we saw in Bengaluru. What if there were some deaths in Hyderabad too ? Can anyone expect celebrations for RCB in Hyderabad city ! But with the social media playing a huge role across the country and the globe , perhaps police has to be alert for everyone and everything in future ! Is it humanely possible to do so - is what I am wondering 🤔
