Just because a cry is attention-seeking does not make it any less worthy of your attention. Young children use cries to communicate a wide variety of needs - often tapping into tears when they lack the verbal abilities to sufficiently express their needs/feelings. That doesn’t make these cries “fake.” Think of them, instead, as messages your child isn’t yet prepared to express otherwise. I can’t get enough of this little one, who takes the time to get comfortable and position herself properly on the floor before launching into her cry. They never touch the screen once which DOES in fact has a huge impact on battery life Every single time you touch your phones screen, it has to ramp up the processor to not just calculate the touch input, it hast to calculate predictably since you may not just be touching, but swiping. And it should continue scrolling once you lift your finger because that makes it feel more natural. And this needs power. Drains power. So a more important touchscreen and software can make a huge difference in battery life. And most battery tests just ignore that entirely. That's why some tests show vastly different results

Last year I invested in the former team of PillPack—who had sold to Amazon. I've known them for 12 years since our accelerator days and their design was always executed a level I've never seen in healthcare. Today they're debuting their product: General Medicine. And it's the simplest articulation of healthcare ever. It's just an online shop where you can pick your ailment, link your insurance, and book a $25 appointment with a doctor in under 60 seconds. It's crazy how much we've mangled the healthcare experience to the point where it is today—and this is a product that finally returns it back to its essence.
